The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort
The newest DVC resort is one of the best places to be for Halloween! At Fort Wilderness, guests enjoy decorating their campsites for Halloween and joining in on the Halloween golf cart parade. The location is also convenient since you can take the ferry from Fort Wilderness to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Bay Lake Tower
If you plan to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Bay Lake Tower is also a great pick for Halloween. You can walk to and from the Magic Kingdom, so you don’t have to wait for transportation. Plus, if you do feel too tired to walk at the end of the night, you can always opt to take the monorail.
If you aren’t attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Bay Lake Tower can still be a good way to enjoy the Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Halloween Spectacular fireworks from a distance. Whether you have a Theme Park View Villa, or you check out the areas near the Contemporary’s Grand Concourse, you can get a good view and even hear the fireworks soundtrack.

Grand Floridian
The Grand Floridian is another good resort for Halloween for many of the same reasons as Bay Lake Tower. Although the walk to Bay Lake Tower is shorter, the Grand Floridian also offers a walking path from the Magic Kingdom, which helps those attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Other transportation options between the Grand Floridian and Magic Kingdom include the ferry and the monorail.
To watch Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Halloween Spectacular, head to the ferry dock or the marina for great fireworks views, or enjoy them from a Theme Park View Resort Studio!
Grand Californian
If you are lucky enough to get tickets to the Oogie Boogie Bash, the Grand Calfornian is a great resort to stay at. With the resort having its own entrance to Disney California Adventure, you have an easy way to get to the Oogie Boogie Bash and a short distance to go back to your room at the end of the night. The Grand Californian itself is also festive for Halloween with decorations and treats in the lobby.
