Watching Fireworks from Disney’s Grand Floridian
There’s nothing like ending a day in Walt Disney World with fireworks. Most people think the best viewing areas are in the parks, but there are some great fireworks spots at the resorts, including Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Below are the locations where you can catch a good view of the Happily Ever After fireworks show that takes place in Magic Kingdom. While you won’t be able to see the projections on Cinderella Castle or along Main Street, a major benefit of each of these spots is the lack of crowds.
Ferry Dock
When you are at the Grand Floridian, you are only a short boat ride away from Magic Kingdom. That proximity also means that you are close enough to get a good view of the fireworks over Cinderella Castle from the dock.
Narcoosee’s

This signature restaurant at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is arguably one of our personal favorite spots to watch the Happily Ever After fireworks after dinner. Some window-side tables offer fantastic views right from your seat, but we recommend stepping out to the porch for an even more immersive experience. With the fireworks soundtrack beautifully piped in, it’s a magical way to end the evening.
Marina Outside Gasparilla Island Grill
You can create your own dinner and a show by ordering a late quick service dinner from Gasparilla Island Grill inside the Grand Floridian and then sitting at one of the outdoor tables across from the marina. You can also hear the Happily Ever After soundtrack from this location.

Courtyard Pool
A pool may not be the first place you think of for viewing fireworks, but you can get a partial fireworks view from the Grand Floridian Courtyard Pool or the comfort of one of the lounge chairs. Note that this is a partial view because there are some trees that slightly obstruct the view.
Theme Park View Resort Studio

The beautiful new Resort Studios that have recently opened in the Big Pine Key building not only offer gorgeous decor, but they also offer a booking category that is new to the Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa: Theme Park View. With these rooms, you can watch Happy Ever After from your own private balcony.
Watching the fireworks show at the Grand Floridian is an experience you won’t want to miss. Make sure to start planning your trip today so you can enjoy this and other amazing experiences Walt Disney World has to offer.
