Finally, if you already have a Disney Vacation Club reservation booked that you’re unable to use, you can list it as a Confirmed Reservation on our website. We will then market that reservation to Guests who can purchase the stay exactly as it has been booked.

Yes. As the Disney Vacation Club Member, you will need to make the reservation on behalf of the Guest through your DVC account, just as you would when booking a stay for yourself. You’ll enter the requested dates and room type, add the Guest’s information, secure the reservation, and then provide the 12-digit reservation number to the DVC Rental Store team to complete the booking process.

You may also be asked to help with small reservation updates along the way, such as adjusting Guest names or adding requests like the Disney Dining Plan, celebrations, or room-location preferences.

When you rent your DVC points through DVC Rental Store, you’ll receive 75% of your payout within 2–3 days after the reservation is secured for the Guest. This gives you access to most of your rental proceeds shortly after the booking is completed.

The remaining 25% is paid 2–3 days after the Guest checks in for their stay.

DVC Rental Store offers several convenient ways for Members to receive their rental proceeds. PayPal is typically the quickest and most convenient option, but Members can also choose to be paid by ACH (Direct Deposit) or check.

You can also put your rental proceeds toward a different type of vacation through the DVC Rental Store Swap Program, giving you the flexibility to turn unused DVC points into another travel experience instead of receiving a traditional cash payout.

It’s also important to keep your Disney Vacation Club Membership in good standing by maintaining current annual dues, loan payments, and account information so that nothing unexpectedly impacts the reservation. By honoring confirmed bookings, we can provide a safe and reliable experience for both Members and Guests.

If a Guest cancels their reservation, the DVC Rental Store works to take the stress and uncertainty out of the process for our Members. Once the Guest has signed their rental agreement and paid their required deposit, your payout is protected. You will still receive your initial 75% payment and the remaining 25% payout on the original check-in date, just as planned.

Depending on the situation, we may contact you to request assistance with canceling the reservation, modifying Guest information, or booking an alternative stay. Because we understand that DVC points have unique expiration dates, banking deadlines, and usage restrictions, our team assumes much of the burden associated with Guest cancellations and works to find solutions that protect both your rental earnings and your points.

No. Renting out your DVC points does not affect the Member benefits you are eligible to receive. Those benefits remain tied to you as the Disney Vacation Club Member and your individual eligibility.

Guests staying on a rented reservation can enjoy the benefits of staying at a Disney Vacation Club Resort, but they do not receive Member-only perks such as dining discounts, Moonlight Magic events, or other eligible Membership Extras. Those remain reserved for qualifying DVC Members.
