Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe Debuts New Menu
Along with the many changes underway in Frontierland, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe has recently updated its menu. While some favorites like the cilantro-lime rice and strawberry limeade slushy remain from the old menu, there are lots of new Tex-Mex entrees, sides, and desserts to try!
Entrees
First up are new customizable entrees. Choose from a steamed tamale, rice bowl, nacho bowl, or Southwest Caesar salad as your base and then pick a protein. There’s the citrus-chipotle chicken, green chili pork, or Coca-Cola cherry braised beef. If you’re feeling hungry, you can get a double portion of the protein or add a second one for $0.50.
Also new to the menu are the double chili con queso burger and grilled masa flatbread. The burger features two flame-broiled beef patties with chili con carne, chipotle queso, and corn chips, and comes with barbecue-cheddar seasoned fries. The grilled corn flatbread has sweet potatoes, stewed pinto beans, plant-based pepper jack “cheese,” shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, and plant-based lime crema. The flatbread is plant-based though you can add chicken, beef, or pork.
Kids’ Meals
Little ones can select a chicken rice bowl, cheeseburger, or nacho bowl. For the nacho bowl, they can choose either the citrus-chipotle chicken or Coca-Cola cherry-braised beef. Each kids’ meal comes with apple slices, a Cuties Mandarin, and either low fat milk or a small bottle of water.
Sides
The two new side dishes are the barbecue-cheddar seasoned french fries and charro beans. The fries have a spicy and slightly sweet seasoning and come with a side of queso. Charro beans are stewed pinto beans with pico de gallo and queso fresco.
Desserts
To end your meal with something sweet, there’s the sweet corn mousse or Mexican chocolate and horchata verrine. The mousse is shaped like street corn and is topped with white chocolate and raspberry powder. The verrine is layered with a rich Mexican chocolate and topped with horchata and a dollop of whipped cream.
