Easy-to-Book Disney World Dining Reservations

May 16, 2024

Getting a good Disney dining reservation can sometimes be difficult, but it doesn’t always have to be!  Here are a few worthwhile restaurants at Walt Disney World that are easy to book at the 60-day mark or easy to snag as a last minute dining reservation.

Ale & Compass

Over at the Yacht Club, Ale & Compass serves New England comfort food.  At breakfast, there are classics with a twist such as the crab cake benedict, salted-caramel french toast, and dark chocolate waffle.  You can also add the breakfast buffet to any entree, which includes fruit, pastries, yogurt parfaits, cheddar biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls, and a choice of coffee, tea, juice, or soft drink.

At lunch and dinner, the menu features flatbreads, salads, sandwiches, and seafood specialties like the New England seafood pot pie, sustainable catch of the day, and pappardelle pasta with shrimp.  With Ale and Compass being so close to EPCOT’s International Gateway, this can be a really convenient restaurant on your EPCOT days or if you are staying at the Beach Club or BoardWalk.

Il Mulino

Just a friendship boat ride away from Hollywood Studios or EPCOT is Il Mulino at the Swan. The cuisine here is inspired by the Abruzzi region of Italy.  On the menu are a variety of pizzas and pastas and main dishes like pollo parmigiana, veal saltimbocca, and branzino.  There are typically multiple time slots available for Il Mulino in My Disney Experience, but it is also bookable via OpenTable.

Rosa Mexicano

Located in the Swan’s sister resort, the Dolphin, is the relatively new Rosa Mexicano.  For lunch and dinner, you’ll find entrees such as tacos, enchiladas, pork carnitas, and grilled platters for 2 to 6 people.  Fans of Rosa Mexicano especially like the restaurant’s margaritas and appetizers like the made-to-order guacamole, empanadas, or chicken tortilla soup.

There’s also a breakfast buffet with a mix of American breakfast dishes like omelets and Mickey waffles as well as some with a Mexican twist like guacamole and toast or scrambled eggs with lime crema, salsa, and tortilla strips.  Rosa Mexicano is bookable via My Disney Experience or OpenTable.

Sebastian’s Bistro

Sebastian’s Bistro at Caribbean Beach Resort is an all-you-care-to-eat dinner.  Choose between the Taste of the Caribbean with mojo pork, citrus chicken, chili-rubbed beef, and baked fish or the plant-based Harvest of the Caribbean with fried jerk tofu, ImpossibleTM kebab, “fish” cake, and plant-based sausage.

Both options also include rolls, a salad with mixed greens and tropical fruit, cilantro rice and beans, vegetable stew, grilled vegetables, and coconut-pineapple bread pudding.  If you’re a fan of ‘Ohana’s pineapple coconut bread pudding, the one at Sebastian’s is a great alternative.  While Sebastian’s may seem out of the way, it’s easy to get to from Hollywood Studios or EPCOT thanks to the Skyliner.

Wine Bar George

Don’t be fooled by the name; Wine Bar George has some great food to offer besides its extensive collection of wines.  You can get a bunch of appetizers to split like the mac and cheese bites, saganaki on fire, or charcuterie, or share one of the family style platters, such as the skirt steak or the branzino.  If you can’t find a reservation for Wine Bar George in My Disney Experience, it’s also worth checking OpenTable.
