
Don’t Miss These EPCOT Summertime Treats!
It’s summertime, and the Disney snacking is easy! If a visit to EPCOT is on your to-do list this summer and you’ve got a hankering for something sweet (or savory), you’ve come to the right place. Let me take a moment or two to steer you in the right direction.
GRAB-N-GOOF
First things first, we’re heading to World Celebration for EVERYTHING at the GRAB-N-GOOF food booth. Goofy’s taken over CommuniCore Hall for the summer months as a part of the Cool Kid Summer campaign, and he’s brought the very best of kid and adult-friendly handheld treats along with him.

Don’t miss the Cookies and Cream Ravioli; the combination of the raviolis and the vanilla sauce that accompanies them is worth the price of admission. The Pizza Ravioli dish was my personal fave; the diced pepperoni filling brought a kick without being too spicy. The pièce de résistance is the Goofy’s Gone Fishing slushy. It’s huge, delicious, and will leave you with a sugar rush that’ll see you through the hottest of afternoons in the park. And you’ll find yourself gobbling up each and every last gummy shark in the bowl. It’s a fun reminder that adults are just big kids at heart.
Speaking of kids, if you find yourself in the park this summer with children in tow, be sure to stop inside CommuniCore Hall and let them experience GoofyCore. They’ll have a blast playing games and singing songs with the DJ, and, in my mind, the open and air conditioned play space is exactly what little ones need during a hot and sweaty theme park day.
THE RETURN OF THE S’MORES BAR
I am overjoyed to report that the belle of the Flower and Garden Festival ball, the S’mores Bar, has taken up residence at Regal Eagle Smokehouse in the American Adventure pavilion. This treat is worth the trek around the World Showcase, and the $5.49 price tag isn’t bad at all.

The S’mores Bar was originally found at the Beach Grub Outdoor Kitchen during this year’s festival, and it quickly became known for its social media-worthy look. It’s a fudgy brownie that’s been coated in dark chocolate and topped with toasted marshmallow fluff and smoked graham cracker crumbs. Trust me when I say that smoked graham cracker crumbs are the thing you didn’t realize you needed in your life, but you do. They completely make this sweet treat, and you’ll be snapping a picture for Instagram as soon as it’s handed to you by the cast member. Guaranteed.
I SCREAM, YOU SCREAM, WE ALL SCREAM FOR… GELATO!?
There’s a little spot in the Italy pavilion that I would highly recommend you not pass by again without trying. The Gelatoria Toscana is the walk-up frozen treat counter that you can’t do without on an EPCOT summer’s day. If you’ve ever stopped by Vivoli Il Gelato in Disney Springs, this is the same creamy, time-honored recipe.

If sundaes are your thing, you can’t go wrong with the Coppa Del Nonno. Three scoops of gelato (Chocolate, Vanilla, and Cookies & Cream) are topped with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. And those little cookies on top? They’re crispy amaretto superstars, friends. Delicious and crunchy, these cookies pair beautifully with the rich and creamy gelato. Yes, the ice cream in the France pavilion is your go-to, but why not shake things up a bit next time with something Italian?

If you’re like me and all things coffee is your jam, please be sure to try their Affogato Espresso Gelato. A scoop of their decadent vanilla gelato is made even better with a shot of freshly brewed Italian espresso being poured over top. And, as a bonus, you’re given two of those addictive amaretto cookies to dunk in the espresso/gelato goodness. It’s an absolutely divine combination.
AN HONORABLE MENTION
You can’t go wrong in the summer in EPCOT. Yes, it’s sweltering, but you’ll find sips and treats to keep you going around every turn. In fact, I can’t let you go without mentioning the Frozen Citrus Pomegranate Slushy at Oasis Sweets & Sips in the Morocco pavilion. If you’re a fan of slushies, this one’ll climb to the top of your must-have list quite quickly.
