Cool Kid Summer Comes to Disney World
This summer, Disney World is adding a little extra magic for its younger guests in each of the theme parks and select resorts! From character appearances to dance parties and games, here’s all the summer fun you and your family can look forward to. Many of these activities are indoors and a great way to beat the heat or stay dry during summer storms!
Magic Kingdom
Join the circus–Storybook Circus that is! Over at Storybook Circus in Fantasyland, there’s the Big Top Bash featuring DJ Ringmaster’s dance party, appearances by Pluto, and midway-style games. Right next door at Big Top Souvenirs, there are activities like coloring.
Over in Tomorrowland, you can join the Galactic Blast with a DJ dance party at Rocket Tower Plaza Stage. Keep an eye out for Stitch while you’re there! When you’re ready to cool off, head indoors to Merchant of Venus for arts and crafts inspired by the upcoming Disney and Pixar film, Elio.
EPCOT
Goofy has taken over CommuniCore Hall for the summer! Inside this “GoofyCore” summer party, you’ll find a DJ and games like Loopy Limbo and Parachutes ‘n’ Pipsqueaks. Showtimes are 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm, 3:15pm, 4:15pm, and 5:15pm.
Hollywood Studios
Join your favorite Disney Junior friends in Animation Courtyard for “Get Animated”! This event includes a magician, jump rope performers, games, and crafts plus an indoor DJ dance party where you can meet Mickey in his Roadster Racers outfit and Disney Junior pals like Fancy Nancy. You’ll also find some other friends roaming around Animation Courtyard, such as Donald, Daisy, and Clarabelle.
Animal Kingdom
Become a Wilderness Explorer and earn a special limited-time Wilderness Explorers badge through new adventures with your favorite Disney characters. At Discovery Island, join the Dino Institute Intern for A Celebration Sing-Along and storytelling that features all the incredible animals you can find at Animal Kingdom.
Resorts
The fun isn’t limited to the theme parks. At select resorts like Wilderness Lodge, every child will receive a reusable bag with crayons, stickers, coloring sheets with activities, and Bluey buttons at check-in. At Wilderness Lodge, you’ll find the activities like the Wake Up Shake Up Party at the boat dock, a Pajama Party on the lawn by Reunion Station, characters inside and outside the lobby, and Disney Fan Family Fun interactive games.
