New Disney Cruise Line Itineraries Announced for Fall 2027 and Spring 2028!
Disney Cruise Line has just announced new itineraries for Fall 2027 and Spring 2028! With the Disney Wish sailing from New York City, the Disney Destiny coming to Port Canaveral, and new ports of call in Panama, there are lots of exciting new sailings to look forward to.
Itinerary Highlights
Disney Wish
Perhaps the biggest headline among the new itineraries is the return of cruises out of New York City. For the first time, the Disney Wish will sail out of New York with voyages to Bermuda, Canada, and New England. This is great news for Disney fans in the Northeast who want a taste of the Disney magic without taking a flight down to Florida.
Disney Destiny
Instead of sailing out of Fort Lauderdale, the Disney Destiny will be sailing out of Port Canaveral with ports of call in the Bahamas and Western Caribbean, including stops at Disney’s exclusive island destinations, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay in the Bahamas. For the best of both worlds, there are even some itineraries that include stops at both Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay!

Disney Magic
If you’re looking for a longer getaway to enjoy entertainment on the ship, consider one of the two 14-night Panama Canal repositioning cruises aboard the Disney Magic. These sailings include new ports of call with the eastbound sailing stopping in Fuerte Amador (Panama City) and the westbound sailing stopping in Colón, Panama, which is a historic city at the Caribbean Gateway to the Panama Canal.
Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime Cruises
For some extra festive sailings, there is the return of the Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime cruises, which offer fun seasonal entertainment, activities, and decorations. Experience Halloween on the High Seas for most itineraries that depart late September through Halloween with Mickey’s Mouse-Querade deck party, storytelling by the Enchanted Pumpkin Trees, and special character meet and greets with characters in their costumes. Many sailings from late November through Christmas are Very Merrytime cruises featuring giant gingerbread houses, Christmas trees, greetings with Santa, and Mickey & Minnie’s Holiday Party.

Swap Your DVC Points for a Disney Cruise
Did you know that you can use your DVC points to pay for your Disney cruise? With DVC Rental Store’s Point Swap Program, a vacation specialist will help you find the best cruise for your travel needs and then provide a quote that includes the number of points you’ll need to rent to pay for the cruise. If you’re short on points, you can use a mix of rented points and cash to cover it. Once you accept the quote, a licensed travel professional will book your cruise reservation.
The Point Swap Program gives you better value for your points since fewer points are required compared to exchanging your points directly through Disney. Plus, there are no blackout dates, and you can use resale DVC points!
When Can I Book a Cruise?
If you’re looking to book one of the new itineraries, Castaway Club members get to book before the general public:
- Pearl members: Starting August 31, 2026
- Platinum members: Starting September 1, 2026
- Gold members: Starting September 2, 2026
- Silver members: Starting September 3, 2026
Eligible DVC Members and Adventures by Disney Insiders can also book starting on September 3, 2026. The general public can begin booking cruises on September 8, 2026.
