Best Breakfasts at Walt Disney World
There are so many options for breakfast at Walt Disney World that it can be hard to know what to pick. Whether you would like a buffet, character dining, table service, or quick service, here are some recommendations for breakfast at Disney World.
Buffet: Boma
Boma at Jambo House at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge offers the best variety of dishes to suit all tastes! For more adventurous eaters, you’ll find African-inspired dishes such as turkey bobotie, creamy pap, and chakalaka. For those who want more basic breakfast options, there are classics like Mickey waffles, eggs, and bacon.
Fans of the zebra domes that Boma serves for dessert at dinner will enjoy the Striped and Spiked Cold Brew with Joffrey’s Coffee™ cold brew French roast, South African amarula cream liqueur, Godiva chocolate liqueur, whipped cream, and a zebra dome.
At $37 per adult and $22 per child (ages 3 to 9), Boma’s buffet not only offers an array of unique dishes, but it is a better deal than character buffets.
Table Service: Trattoria Al Forno
If a buffet is too much food, a good option for a table service breakfast is Trattoria Al Forno at the BoardWalk. While you can get Mickey waffles and pancakes, there are some standout menu items like the Sunrise Breakfast Pizza, Tiramisu French Toast, and fire-grilled steak and eggs. Due to its location, Trattoria Al Forno is a convenient place to dine at for your days at EPCOT or Hollywood Studios.
Character Dining: Topolino’s Terrace
Many people may think of Chef Mickey’s or ‘Ohana when it comes to character breakfasts, but Topolino’s Terrace at Riviera is not to be missed! During Breakfast à la Art at Topolino’s Terrace, you’ll meet Mickey as a painter, Minnie as a poet, Donald as a sculptor, and Daisy as a ballerina. In addition to the unique character costumes at Topolino’s, the quality of the food is also better than your typical character meal. You’ll find delectable entrees such as quiche gruyère, wood-fired steak and eggs, smoked salmon, and bread pudding brûlée.
Quick Service: Les Halles
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in the France Pavilion in EPCOT is great for a quick breakfast with more specialty options than your traditional resort quick service restaurant. You’ll find breakfast sandwiches like a ham and cheese croissant, quiches, and pastries. Many of these items are under $11, making breakfast at Les Halles both delicious and economical. If you stay at the Beach Club, BoardWalk, or Riviera, it’s even possible to rope drop Les Halles and bring breakfast back to your room.
