A Look at Contempo Cafe at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Guests staying at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort can enjoy the convenience of Contempo Cafe. The quick service restaurant is a quick walk across the Skybridge to the main concourse of the Contemporary Resort. Let’s take a look at the current eats and treats!
Breakfast
For breakfast, you’ll find something sweet and something savory. For those craving something sweet, try the Minnie cinnamon roll that’s dipped in white chocolate and decorated with a white chocolate bow or Mickey waffles. If something savory is in order, try the breakfast flatbread, bounty breakfast platter, totcho bowl, or breakfast sandwich.
Lunch and Dinner
For lunch and dinner, there is a spicy chicken sandwich with a crispy chicken breast, pepper jack, chipotle remoulade, arugula, seasoned tomato, and dill pickle chips on a brioche bun as well as the signature rice bowls. For the rice bowls, you can pick grilled shrimp, braised beef, grilled chicken, or crispy tofu. They come with cilantro-lime rice, black beans, street corn, avocado, pico de gallo, carrot, and pickled red onion. You can also find burgers, sandwiches, flatbreads, and wraps.
Dessert
Leave room for dessert! There are lots of treats to try. First up is the monorail s’more brownie that has a graham cracker crust, marshmallow crème topping, and a white chocolate monorail car. As an ode to the iconic Mary Blair mural in the main concourse of the Contemporary, there is the 5-legged goat fruit tart. This tart has a vanilla shell filled with raspberry lemon curd and finished with fresh fruit, lemon whipped cream, and white chocolate décor featuring the 5-legged goat.
To fit with the Incredibles-themed hotel rooms at the Contemporary, there’s the Jack-Jack cookie num nums cupcake. This chocolate cupcake is topped with a chocolate chip cookie dough mousse. If you are in the mood for actual cookies, Contempo Cafe now has three signature deluxe cookies: a chocolate chunk cookie with peanut butter buttercream, a churro cookie with cinnamon buttercream, and a kitchen sink cookie with Mickey chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, butterscotch, and walnuts. Keep an eye out for seasonal sugar cookies too!
