Why Book a DVC Resort Instead of a Moderate Resort?

Prime Locations
DVC resorts are located in some of the best locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. Most are near the theme parks, and some like Bay Lake Tower, the Grand Floridian, Beach Club, and BoardWalk are walking distance from a theme park.
More Transportation Options
If you aren’t walking distance from a theme park, many of the DVC resorts offer transportation other than buses. For example, Riviera has the Skyliner for access to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Bay Lake Tower, the Grand Floridian, and the Polynesian are all along the monorail loop for access to the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. The Grand Floridian and Polynesian also have ferry boats to take guests to the Magic Kingdom.
Although Old Key West and Saratoga Springs are not located near a theme park, they offer ferry boats that take guests to Disney Springs.
More Space and Amenities
With accommodations as large as Three Bedroom Grand Villas that sleep up to 12 guests, DVC villas are among the most spacious accommodations in Disney World. The One Bedroom Villas and larger also include a living room for more space to gather with friends and family and full kitchens equipped with dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, so you can cook a meal. More Restaurants
Since DVC resorts are Deluxe Resorts, they are home to more dining options. They each offer quick service and table service restaurants. Some even offer signature dining. For instance, the Grand Floridian is home to Citricos, Narcoosee’s, and Victoria & Albert’s.
Additional Perks
Through 2025, guests at Deluxe Resorts (including all of the DVC Resorts) can enjoy Extended Evening Theme Park Hours! These nights give guests a chance to visit a theme park for a couple of hours after the park has closed to the general public. Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are a fun way to enjoy the attractions with lower wait times and cooler temperatures.
