What if you Could Pick only ONE Snack at EPCOT?!
Asking Disney Park fans to pick their favorite snack is akin to asking them to choose their favorite child. How could you ever choose? More importantly, how could you ever choose just ONE? This is the question that I posed to a family near and dear to me: the Rolfsens. I asked them if they could pick just one snack to enjoy in EPCOT during their entire trip, which one would it be? Ready to discover their choices? Pop some popcorn and settle in.
When I met them in EPCOT last Saturday, I didn’t know the snack choices that each of the four family members had made. In fact, I didn’t know what the next snack would be until after we were finished with the first snack. It was so much fun being surprised along the way.

Our first stop had us making our way to the France pavilion. Katrina‘s choice was the Macaron Lime Raspberry ($7.50) from Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie. This was a strong start, friends. I know we all have our favorite snacks, but I’m not sure I ever would’ve come up with that macaron. That being said, it was the perfect place to begin our quest. The macaron is completely shareable, which, in my mind, helps to justify the treat’s steep price tag. The fresh raspberries, the chewiness of the macaron, and the brightness of the lime cream all marry together to create a flavor and texture explosion. It’ll wake up your taste buds and get you going for the rest of your EPCOT day.
Be ye warned: there will likely be a long line when you approach the patisserie. Do not fear; that line moves rather quickly. Before you know it, you’ll be sinking your teeth into that coveted French treat.

We stepped outside the bustling patisserie to discover our next stop from Rachel: the Norway pavilion for EPCOT’s classic Norwegian School Bread ($4.79). While we were on our way to the Norway pavilion, I asked the family if there were any other snacks that we would be passing along the way. Mom Kimi mentioned that her snack could be found in the Morocco pavilion, so we made a a pitstop at Tangierine Café for their Stone-baked Moroccan Bread ($5). The bread comes with three dips: hummus, Chermoula, and Zhoug. If you’re looking for a snack, that’ll have you trying something different and something with an international flare, this is the perfect go to. The Zhoug had bright notes and olive oil for days. The Chermoula had a wonderful autumnal flavor, and you absolutely cannot go wrong with Tangierine Café’s hummus. In fact, if you’d like to, you can ask for all three dips to be hummus, which I highly recommend for a filling protein-packed park day snack.
When we polished off the stone-baked bread, we we once again resumed our journey to the Norway pavilion. You can find the Norwegian School Bread in Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe, a spot that I feel doesn’t get the attention it deserves in the snack category. I have never once had a snack that I did not enjoy in Kringla, and I believe it to be a must-do for all Walt Disney World fans.

The School Bread leans heavily on the bread. It’s not too savory and it’s not too sweet. A beautiful vanilla custard brings the sweet notes and the bread brings the more savory notes, and as soon as you sink your teeth into it, you’ll find out why it’s a fan favorite. It’s large, completely shareable and delicious.

Mark was the last family member to reveal his favorite snack, and he threw me a curveball by saying it was actually a snack that he had never tried before. Also, it wasn’t even a snack at all. He wanted to try the PB&J Latte ($6.49) from the from the Joffrey‘s Coffee kiosk found at Showcase Plaza. His choice brought up a great point: the festival-inspired coffee drinks are fun to try, and you never know because you may just find a new favorite. The PB&J Latte was so good, and I found the raspberry notes in the coffee to be a little more noticeable than the flavor of peanut butter. Espresso is brewed directly into peanut butter syrup during the creation of the drink, making a wonderful coffee and nutty aroma waft through the air. I’m a huge coffee fan, and it was so much fun to try this latte.
So the question comes to you: which EPCOT snack you would choose if you could only choose one? The Rolfsen family members did an incredible job with their assignment, and we had an absolute blast enjoying each other‘s favorite treats.
