How to Watch Disney Dreams That Soar
This summer, Disney Springs has its own nighttime spectacular: Disney Dreams That Soar! The 10-minute show features 800 choreographed drones that fly to a soundtrack of Disney films. As they soar, they bring to life iconic characters and scenes, such as those from Peter Pan, Toy Story, Up, Coco, Star Wars, Dumbo, and more! Here’s how to watch this limited-time spectacular.
When Is It Shown?
Disney Dreams That Soar will have performances between May 24 and September 2, 2024. There are two showings per night. Currently, these two showings are at 9pm and 10:45pm. However, be sure to check the showtime calendar when planning an outing to catch the spectacular since times may vary throughout the summer.
Where Are the Viewing Areas?
With the drones taking flight above Lake Buena Vista, you can watch the show on the West Side of Disney Springs between the Cirque Du Soleil Theatre and the Aerophile. You can access the viewing area from either an entrance between Cirque Du Soleil and House of Blues or another entrance between Starbucks and the Aerophile. Guests with wheelchairs can watch from the dedicated viewing area where the food trucks are normally located.
You can also see Disney Dreams That Soar from Saratoga Springs. From the Congress Park section, you have a good view of Lake Buena Vista and can easily see all of the stunning formations. While they will technically be backwards, the only time it is really noticeable is when there is text, such as the title of the show. You also won’t really be able to hear the soundtrack from Saratoga Springs since there aren’t any speakers on that side of the lake.
Tips for Watching
- Disney suggests arriving at least 60 minutes prior to the show. This is especially important if you take your own car since it can take time to find parking and get through security.
- Viewing areas along the waterfront of the West Side are first come, first served. For the first showings of Disney Dreams That Soar, there was even a line to enter the viewing area, so this is another reason to arrive early. Guests can access the waterfront starting at 7:45pm.
- If you have a MagicBand+, wear it to watch Disney Dreams That Soar! The band will light up and vibrate along with the show.
- Disney Springs is always hopping at night, but it has been especially busy after the show. You’ll need to pack your patience when waiting to exit after the show ends since the West Side of Disney Springs tends to bottleneck.
- If you want reserved seating, consider the Dreams That Soar Tasting Experience at Jaleo, which includes a meal of 13 tapas.
