Face Coverings Now Optional for ALL Outdoor Attractions and Queues at Disney World
A new update to Walt Disney World’s health and safety policies will allow guests to now enjoy all outdoor attractions, shows, and queues without a face mask!
In a statement issued Wednesday, Disney outlined that face masks are no longer required outdoors beginning Thursday – August 19th.
“Since May, face coverings have been optional for Guests in outdoor common areas, and beginning Thursday, August 19, face coverings will also be optional for Guests in outdoor attractions, outdoor queues and outdoor theaters at Walt Disney World Resort. As a reminder, face coverings remain required for all Guests (ages 2 and up) while indoors and in Disney buses, monorail and Disney Skyliner, regardless of vaccination status.”
Face coverings continue to be required at all indoor locations, regardless of vaccination status.
Disney encourages guests to visit their “Know Before You Go” website for the most up-to-date information on health and safety measures throughout the resort.
