Exploring Disney’s Riviera Resort

May 8, 2023
By

Themed after the French and Italian Riviera, Disney’s Riviera Resort is an elegant resort with subtle nods to Disney characters and movies and Walt Disney himself.  It is a wonderful resort for both adult-only trips with its beautiful grounds, Tower Studios, and great dining as well as family trips with its Fantasia-themed splash pad and Eventi room crafts and activities.  Here’s what you’ll love when exploring and staying at Disney’s Riviera Resort!

Skyliner Access

Disney’s Skyliner

One of the best parts of staying at the Riviera is the skyliner.  This gives you quick access to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.  For families, the skyliner is especially convenient since you do not have to collapse your stroller, and the skyliner is something of an attraction itself to little ones.

Spacious Deluxe Studios

Riviera Deluxe Studio

The Deluxe Studios at Riviera are some of the larger ones among the DVC resorts.  They sleep up to five guests with a queen size bed, queen size Murphy bed, and a pull-down single bed.  The split bathrooms are also a nice perk since you get both a shower and a tub/shower combo.

Delicious Dining

Classic Sole Meunière at Topolino’s Terrace

Topolino’s Terrace has become one of the most popular dining reservations to get, especially for the Breakfast à la Art with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy in their special Riviera costumes.  Dinner there is also a real treat with both great food and views of the EPCOT fireworks.

Beyond Topolino’s, Primo Piatto offers quick service breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  You can also get light bites from Bar Riva, the pool bar, and Le Petit Café, which serves coffee and pastries in the morning and drinks and charcuterie at night.

Beautiful Artwork

“Tangled” tile mural at Riviera

From the beautiful tile murals near the skyliner station to the paintings in each of the villas, Riviera has some gorgeous Disney-inspired artwork.  If you really love a specific painting, you can even purchase it for your own home!  Just stop by the kiosk in the La Boutique gift shop to order your favorite.

Book a stay at Disney’s Riviera Resort either by browsing the confirmed reservations or checking availability!
