Watching Fireworks from Disney’s Riviera Resort

While the theme parks are typically the best place to view fireworks at Walt Disney World, some resorts provide wonderful viewing areas with lower crowds. Among these resorts with fireworks views is Disney’s Riviera Resort. Riviera is just a quick Skyliner ride away from EPCOT and has a few different locations for you to see the park’s nighttime spectacular. Here are some of the best locations to watch fireworks from Disney’s Riviera Resort!

Topolino’s Terrace

The best location to watch fireworks from Disney’s Riviera Resort is at Topolino’s Terrace, the resort’s signature restaurant with a rooftop terrace. Some tables by the window have a decent view of EPCOT’s fireworks, but the prime spot to watch from is the terrace. Not only will you get a good vantage point, but the soundtrack is piped in! From the terrace, you can also spot fireworks from the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios off in the distance though no music is piped in for either of those shows.

Some Standard View Villas

While there are no guaranteed fireworks view room categories at Riviera, your best chance at a fireworks view from your room is to book a Standard View Villa. These rooms often face the parking lot, but with some, you can also see EPCOT off in the distance. This means that at night, you can view some of the higher fireworks from your balcony! Views are best with rooms on the higher floors. With Standard Views being worth fewer points than Preferred Views, these rooms can be quite a deal. Just know that they do book up quickly.

Other Studios and Villas

The balcony of Tower Studio 8623 faces EPCOT (Spaceship Earth and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind are visible in the distance) and has fireworks views at night.

Some Preferred View Villas also have fireworks views though your odds are better with the Standard View Villas. Note that Tower Studios on the higher floors can also have a view of EPCOT fireworks, but they book up even more quickly than the Standard View Villas since there are so few of them. There are even fireworks views from a few of the stunning Three Bedroom Grand Villas in the West Wing of the resort.
