DVC Room Types by Resort: Complete Accommodation Guide
When renting a DVC reservation, a big factor in choosing a resort is the room types available. While DVC Resorts have room types varying in size from small Duo or Tower Studios that sleep up to 2 guests to Three Bedroom Grand Villas that sleep up to 12 guests, not all DVC Resorts offer every room type.

Duo Studio
These compact accommodations sleep up to 2 guests with 1 queen-size pull-down bed and have a small kitchenette.

Tower Studio
Like the Duo Studio, the Tower Studio sleeps up to 2 guests with 1 queen-size pull-down bed and has a small kitchenette.

Deluxe Studio
This is the most common type of studio among the DVC Resorts. They sleep up to 4 or 5 guests, depending on the resort. Many have a queen-size bed and a queen-size Murphy bed, and some have a single pull-down bed for a fifth guest. Old Key West is the only one that has two regular queen-size beds. Each has a kitchenette.

Resort Studio
This room is only found in the Big Pine Key building of the Grand Floridian and sleeps up to 5 guests with 2 queen-size beds, and 1 single pull-down bed. It has a beverage center instead of a kitchenette.

Hotel Room
This room sleeps up to 4 guests with 2 queen-size beds. Unlike the Deluxe Studios, they do not have a kitchenette.

Deluxe Inn Room
You’ll find this room type at Vero Beach. It sleeps up to 4 guests with 1 queen-size bed and a queen-size Murphy bed, and it has a kitchenette.

Cabin
This one bedroom cabin sleeps up to 6 guests and is specific to the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness. It has 1 queen-size bed, 1 bunk bed, and 1 queen-size Murphy bed. The cabin is like a hybrid between a Deluxe Studio and One Bedroom Villa since it has a separate bedroom and a full kitchen but lacks a washer and dryer.

One Bedroom Villa
This is available at most DVC Resorts. They sleep up to 4 or 5 guests, depending on the resort. Many have a king-size bed and a queen-size Murphy bed (or sofa bed, depending on the resort), and some have a twin-size pull-down bed for a fifth guest. Each has a full kitchen and a washer and dryer.

Two Bedroom Villa
Two Bedroom Villas are available at most DVC Resorts. They sleep up to 8 or 9 guests, depending on the resort. They have a king-size bed, 2 queen-size beds, a queen-size Murphy bed (or a sofa bed, depending on the resort), and some have a single pull-down bed for a ninth guest. Each Two Bedroom Villa has a full kitchen and a washer and dryer.
Note that Two Bedroom Villas are either Dedicated Two Bedroom Villas or Two Bedroom Villa Lock-offs. The lock-offs are made up of an adjoining Deluxe Studio and One Bedroom Villa instead of being a true Two Bedroom Villa. Some of these lock-offs, such as those at the Grand Floridian and Riviera can sleep up to 10 guests.

Bora Bora Bungalow
These Polynesian bungalows sit over the Seven Seas Lagoon and sleep up to 8 guests with a king-size bed, queen-size bed, queen-size Murphy bed, and 2 twin-size pull-down beds. It has a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a private deck with a plunge pool.

Cascade Cabin
You’ll find the standalone Cascade Cabins on the shores of Bay Lake. They sleep up to 8 guests with a king-size bed, queen-size bed, queen-size sleeper sofa, single pull-down bed, and twin-size sleeper chair. They have a full kitchen, washer and dryer, private deck with a hot tub, and a double-sided fireplace.

Two Bedroom Penthouse Villa
The spacious penthouse villas at the Polynesian Island Tower sleep up to 8 guests with a king-size bed, 2 queen-size beds, and a queen-size Murphy bed. They have a full kitchen, washer, dryer, and an extra large private deck.

Treehouse Villas
The three bedroom Treehouse Villas are standalone accommodations that sleep up to 9 guests with 2 queen-size beds, 1 bunk bed, 1 queen-size sleeper sofa, and 1 sleeper chair. They have a full kitchen, washer, and dryer.

Three Bedroom Beach Cottage
These beautiful two-story cottages are unique to Vero Beach and sleep up to 12 guests with 1 king-size bed, 2 queen-size beds, 2 double beds, and 1 queen-size sleeper sofa. They have a full kitchen, washer, and dryer.

Three Bedroom Grand Villas
These are the largest DVC accommodations available. They sleep up to 12 guests with a king-size bed, 4 queen-size beds, 1 queen-size Murphy bed (or a sofa bed, depending on the resort), and a twin-size sleeper chair. They have a full kitchen, washer, and dryer.
