DVC Room Types by Resort: Complete Accommodation Guide

August 6, 2026
By

When renting a DVC reservation, a big factor in choosing a resort is the room types available.  While DVC Resorts have room types varying in size from small Duo or Tower Studios that sleep up to 2 guests to Three Bedroom Grand Villas that sleep up to 12 guests, not all DVC Resorts offer every room type.

If you’re looking to stay in a specific room type, check the list below to see which resorts have that room.

Duo Studio

These compact accommodations sleep up to 2 guests with 1 queen-size pull-down bed and have a small kitchenette.

Resorts:

Polynesian Duo Studio

Tower Studio

Like the Duo Studio, the Tower Studio sleeps up to 2 guests with 1 queen-size pull-down bed and has a small kitchenette.

Resort:

Riviera Tower Studio

Deluxe Studio

This is the most common type of studio among the DVC Resorts.  They sleep up to 4 or 5 guests, depending on the resort.  Many have a queen-size bed and a queen-size Murphy bed, and some have a single pull-down bed for a fifth guest.  Old Key West is the only one that has two regular queen-size beds.  Each has a kitchenette.

Resorts:

Beach Club Deluxe Studio

Resort Studio

This room is only found in the Big Pine Key building of the Grand Floridian and sleeps up to 5 guests with 2 queen-size beds, and 1 single pull-down bed.  It has a beverage center instead of a kitchenette.

Resort:

Grand Floridian Resort Studio

Hotel Room

This room sleeps up to 4 guests with 2 queen-size beds.  Unlike the Deluxe Studios, they do not have a kitchenette.

Resort:

Deluxe Inn Room

You’ll find this room type at Vero Beach.  It sleeps up to 4 guests with 1 queen-size bed and a queen-size Murphy bed, and it has a kitchenette.

Resort:

Cabin

This one bedroom cabin sleeps up to 6 guests and is specific to the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness.  It has 1 queen-size bed, 1 bunk bed, and 1 queen-size Murphy bed.  The cabin is like a hybrid between a Deluxe Studio and One Bedroom Villa since it has a separate bedroom and a full kitchen but lacks a washer and dryer.

Resort:

Fort Wilderness Cabin

One Bedroom Villa

This is available at most DVC Resorts.  They sleep up to 4 or 5 guests, depending on the resort.  Many have a king-size bed and a queen-size Murphy bed (or sofa bed, depending on the resort), and some have a twin-size pull-down bed for a fifth guest.  Each has a full kitchen and a washer and dryer.

Resorts:

Refurbished Kidani One Bedroom Villa

Two Bedroom Villa

Two Bedroom Villas are available at most DVC Resorts.  They sleep up to 8 or 9 guests, depending on the resort.  They have a king-size bed, 2 queen-size beds, a queen-size Murphy bed (or a sofa bed, depending on the resort), and some have a single pull-down bed for a ninth guest.  Each Two Bedroom Villa has a full kitchen and a washer and dryer.

Note that Two Bedroom Villas are either Dedicated Two Bedroom Villas or Two Bedroom Villa Lock-offs.  The lock-offs are made up of an adjoining Deluxe Studio and One Bedroom Villa instead of being a true Two Bedroom Villa.  Some of these lock-offs, such as those at the Grand Floridian and Riviera can sleep up to 10 guests.

Resorts:

Riviera Two Bedroom Villa

Bora Bora Bungalow

These Polynesian bungalows sit over the Seven Seas Lagoon and sleep up to 8 guests with a king-size bed, queen-size bed, queen-size Murphy bed, and 2 twin-size pull-down beds.  It has a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a private deck with a plunge pool.

Resort:

Polynesian Bora Bora Bungalow

Cascade Cabin

Resort:
