DVC Resort Activities: Saratoga Springs
Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is known for its proximity to Disney Springs and its quiet atmosphere. However, in addition to the pools, there are lots of activities to enjoy at the resort without heading to the parks. You can always find out the latest recreation activities by checking the resort recreation calendar or asking a cast member when you are on site since they are subject to change. Here’s a glimpse at the Saratoga Springs Resort Activities you can look forward to during your next stay!
Games – Saratoga Springs
Arcade
Win, Place or Show Arcade is located near the High Rock Spring Pool and has classic and contemporary games like air hockey and basketball.
Franklin Square Stakes
This friends and family cornhole challenge takes place on Thursdays at 3:30pm in the Disney Vacation Club Courtyard. You can sign up in advance at the community hall to compete against other teams.
Poolside Activities
From 12:30pm to 2:15pm each day, cast members lead guests in games and activities at the Paddock Pool!
Arts and Crafts – Saratoga Springs
Community Hall
Saratoga Springs has one of the larger community halls among the DVC resorts. It offers ping pong, foosball, movies, board games, and arts and crafts. For arts and crafts, you’ll find ceramic painting, no-sew vacation pillows, and paint your own canvas or magnet. The community hall is also where you can rent equipment for the basketball and tennis courts and barbeque pavilions.
Currently, the community hall is featuring an animation class at 2pm on Wednesdays for an extra fee. The class teaches you how to draw classic Disney characters, and you receive an exclusive pin. The community hall is open from 10am to 10pm daily.
Mickey Tie-Dye
Create your own tie-dye Mickey t-shirt! You can find this activity just outside of the community hall from 2:30pm to 3:30pm each day.
Other Recreational Activities – Saratoga Springs
Bike Rentals
At Horsing Around Rentals, you’ll find bikes for rent, including surrey bikes that are for 2 or 4 people.
“Giddy Up” and Dance Party
Join this dance party that takes place outside the Carriage House each day at noon.
Golf
Play a round of golf at Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, which has hosted the PGA tour, LPGA tour, and USGA events! Reservations can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-GOLF.
Movie Under the Stars
Watch your favorite Disney movies in the Disney Vacation Club Courtyard at 8:30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays!
Playgrounds
Saratoga Springs has two wet playgrounds and one dry. There is the water play area at the Paddock Pool with a waterslide, and the horse-themed water cannons near The Grandstand Pool. The third playground by the Congress Park Pool has a slide and places to climb.
