How Do I Book a DVC Resort If I’m Not a Member?
If you aren’t a DVC Member, you could always book a stay at a DVC Resort directly through Disney, but why do that when you can save up to 65% by renting through DVC Rental Store and still get the same Disney Resort guest perks? There are 2 ways that you can go about renting a stay: request a free quote or find a confirmed reservation.
Get a Free Quote
You can request a free quote with no obligation. To get started, you’ll enter your travel dates and email address to search resort and room options for your dates and browse pricing. Once you find the resort and room type you want, submit your quote request. The team at DVC Rental Store will check availability for your dates. If they’re available, you’ll pay a refundable $100 deposit, and the team will find a DVC Member who can secure the reservation on your behalf.
After the reservation has been secured, you’ll sign a rental agreement and submit your initial payment, which is 25% of the reservation cost minus the $100 deposit. You’ll then get the Disney reservation number that you can link to your My Disney Experience account. The remaining cost is due no later than 75 days prior to your check-in date.
Browse the Confirmed Reservations
Another way to rent a DVC stay is to book a confirmed reservation. A confirmed reservation is a resort stay that has already been booked by a DVC Member and ready for you to claim. While you can’t make any modifications to these reservations, they can be a great option for last minute trips, and the room availability is guaranteed since the DVC Member has already reserved it.
Simply browse the available reservations. If you find a reservation you would like, hit the request now button and fill out your information to claim it. You’ll pay 25% of the cost up front, and then the team at DVC Rental Store will work with the DVC Member to have the reservation transferred to your name, so you can get the Disney reservation number to link to your My Disney Experience app. You’ll pay the remaining 75% of the cost 75 days before your check-in date.
