Disney World Resort Dining: Where to Go for Last Minute Dining?
Disney World vacations can take a lot of planning from resort and dining reservations to Lightning Lanes. However, when you feel like being more spontaneous but aren’t in the mood for a quick service meal, there are some restaurants that are easy to book or offer table service dining without a reservation.
Geyser Point
Take a boat ride to Wilderness Lodge and grab a bite to eat at Geyser Point. This spot is both a lounge and quick service location and does not offer reservations. Geyser Point is a fan favorite for its bison cheeseburger, but it also offers a multigrain salad, vegetable burger, crispy chicken sandwich, and steak sandwich. The relaxed atmosphere at this open-air lounge is perfect for enjoying the outdoors, watching a game at the bar, or even catching Happily Ever After or the Electrical Water Pageant.

Wailulu Bar & Grill
The newest restaurant among the DVC resorts, Wailulu Bar & Grill at the Polynesian Island Tower serves cuisine inspired by the South Pacific. You can start your meal with appetizers like ahi tuna crisps, sticky pork ribs, crispy chicken wings, or garlic shrimp. For entrees, you’ll find the short rib loco moco, poke bowls, a grilled fish of the day, the wayfinder burger, and a chow mein salad. Top off your meal with a dessert like the Dole Whip sundae which elevates the theme park favorite with hibiscus meringue, macerated pineapple, and berries.
While eating your meal, you can take in the gorgeous views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom, which makes Wailulu Bar & Grill a great spot for fireworks. Like Geyser Point, Wailulu Bar & Grill is walk-up only and does not accept reservations.
Grand Floridian Cafe
With so many signature restaurants at the Grand Floridian, such as Citricos, Narcoosee’s, and Victoria & Albert’s, Grand Floridian Cafe can be easily overlooked. This unassuming table service restaurant serves American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You’ll find entrees like eggs benedict, the Grand Floridian Cafe burger, salads, sandwiches, steak and garlic parmesan fingerlings, buttermilk-fried chicken, and vegetable curry. While Grand Floridian Cafe does accept dining reservations, it’s often an easy one to get at the last minute.

Ale & Compass
Located at the Yacht Club, Ale & Compass is a solid choice whether you are staying at the Yacht Club, Beach Club, or nearby BoardWalk or you just want to take a break from EPCOT since the restaurant is a short walk from the park’s back entrance at International Gateway. Like Grand Floridian Cafe, Ale & Compass is another table service restaurant that is typically easy to reserve at the last minute.
Ale & Compass serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and features New England comfort food. The breakfast menu includes a smoked salmon flatbread, dark chocolate waffle, and steak and eggs. The lunch and dinner menus offer blue crab bisque, the Ale and Compass salad, cheddar burger, pappardelle pasta, catch of the day, and a delicious New England seafood pot pie.
Bar Riva
Also accessible from EPCOT’s International Gateway, Bar Riva at the Riviera is a quick Skyliner ride away. Bar Riva may be the resort’s poolside lounge, but it also offers table service dining. You’ll find entrees like a signature burger and grilled chicken pasta as well as some lighter options like a Greek salad, burrata salad, and grilled vegetable pitas. There are also shareable options such as a seasonal arancini, baked brie, chicken strips, and cheese and charcuterie. Save some room for dessert! Bar Riva serves a warm Riviera signature cookie skillet with pistachio gelato.
