Which DVC Resorts Have the Best Fireworks View Rooms?
What’s more magical than ending a fun day at Disney World with fireworks? How about watching those fireworks away from the crowds in the privacy of your own balcony? At some DVC Resorts, you can do just that! Read on to find out which resorts have specific Theme Park View rooms plus some runners up that don’t have official Theme Park View rooms but occasionally offer fireworks views too.
Bay Lake Tower
Bay Lake Tower is the closest DVC Resort to Magic Kingdom, which means it offers wonderful views of Happily Ever After with its Theme Park View rooms, which face Tomorrowland. You’ll find Theme Park Views for every room type at Bay Lake Tower, including Deluxe Studios, One Bedroom Villas, Two Bedroom Villas, and Three Bedroom Villas. While you’re watching, be sure to tune into channel 105 on your TV to get the Happily Ever After soundtrack.
Some of the Resort View rooms facing the front of Bay Lake Tower also offer a decent view of the fireworks though these rooms will be on floors 1 to 4 and don’t have the same vantage point as the Theme Park View rooms on the higher floors. There are also a few Preferred View rooms near the North Elevators that have partial fireworks views from their balconies.
Polynesian
With the addition of the Island Tower, the Polynesian now offers Theme Park View rooms. This category is available for Deluxe Studios, One Bedroom Villas, Two Bedroom Villas, and Two Bedroom Penthouse Villas. Some guests feel that the Polynesian Island Tower has the best fireworks views of Magic Kingdom thanks to its placement directly across the Seven Seas Lagoon from the theme park.
While the original longhouses and Bora Bora Bungalows do not specifically offer a Theme Park View booking category, the Bora Bora Bungalows are right on the Seven Seas Lagoon and face Magic Kingdom, so you can view fireworks from them. The Preferred View Deluxe Studios in Moorea also face Magic Kingdom. However, those on the first floor will have an obstructed view since the Bora Bora Bungalows are located right in front of them.
Grand Floridian
The Grand Floridian’s Big Pine Key building offers Theme Park View Resort Studios. While the Grand Floridian offers Deluxe Studios, One Bedroom Villas, Two Bedroom Villas, and Three Bedroom Grand Villas in the original DVC building, the Resort Studios are the only room type to offer a specific Theme Park View booking category. Occasionally, you may get partial fireworks views from your balcony in the original DVC building, such as some of the Resort View rooms towards the side of the building.
Runners Up:
None of the EPCOT DVC Resorts have a Theme Park View booking category, but you do have a good chance of seeing Luminous from the Boardwalk View rooms at the BoardWalk, especially those on the higher floors and closest to the end of the resort near Atlantic Dance Hall. Some Resort View rooms at Riviera are also known for having partial fireworks views of EPCOT. Lastly, there are some Beach Club rooms that have partial fireworks views as well, but since the Beach Club does not offer different booking categories, the balcony views can be hit or miss.
