Which DVC Resort Should I Rent Points at for a Great Deal?
You get a great deal for renting DVC points whenever you rent through the DVC Rental Store, but are there any resorts that offer better deals than others?
Saratoga Springs
As the largest DVC resort, Saratoga Springs also tends to have the most availability. That includes availability well after the 7-month booking window. This all translates into plenty of confirmed reservations at Saratoga Springs, and even some that go for as little as $15 per point. For instance, a confirmed reservation for a 2-night stay in a Preferred Two Bedroom Villa costs just $750 a night or a total of $1,500!
A Two Bedroom Villa at Saratoga Springs sleeps up to 9 guests. With a Preferred location, you would be in a building that is close to the Carriage House where all the main resort amenities are or in the area closest to Disney Springs!
Old Key West
Like Saratoga Springs, Old Key West has good availability due to its size. Another factor that makes Old Key West a great deal is that it has a low points chart. With DVC rentals depending on the number of points per night, fewer points needed per night means a lower rental cost. Like Saratoga Springs, Old Key West often has a good selection of confirmed reservations.
A Standard Old Key West Deluxe Studio reservation is currently listed for $355.33 per night for 3 nights for a total of $1,066. That’s significantly less than the cost of a Standard View Polynesian Deluxe Studio, which is going for $644 per night.
Animal Kingdom Lodge
There are some great deals to be found at both Jambo House and Kidani Village! At Jambo House, if you are lucky enough to find any of the Value villas, they can really save you on points! A Value One Bedroom for July 23 to 26, 2024 costs only $420 a night or $1,260 for 3 nights.
Kidani Village does not have any Value category rooms. However, as the larger of the two buildings, it has lots of inventory and can have discounted reservations from time to time. For example, there’s a Savanna View One Bedroom Villa for $589.33 a night for a total of $1,768 for 3 nights. That’s just $17 per point!
