Which DVC One Bedroom Villas Have an Extra Bathroom?
Although many One Bedroom Villas among the DVC resorts have similar room capacities as Deluxe Studios, upgrading to a One Bedroom Villa offers you more privacy and more amenities like a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. Some even offer an extra full bathroom, which is even more convenient for getting ready for the day or washing up at the end of a long park day.
Here are the DVC One Bedroom Villas that have an extra bathroom:
Bay Lake Tower
Bay Lake Tower is best known for its prime location just outside of the Magic Kingdom, and the villas are quite spacious. In the 803-square-foot One Bedroom Villas at Bay Lake Tower, you’ll find a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo by the front entrance and another full bathroom with a soaking tub and separate shower next to the bedroom.
Bay Lake Tower recently underwent a hard goods refurbishment and has all new furniture and decor, including vibrant Joey Chou artwork that depicts the different lands of Magic Kingdom and monorail etchings on the bathroom mirrors and single pull-down bed.
Polynesian
While the original DVC longhouses are made up entirely of Deluxe Studios, the Polynesian Island Tower includes One Bedroom Villas with very subtle Moana theming. These new villas have two full bathrooms: one is to the side of the living room and features a shower. The second one by the master bedroom is very spacious and has two sinks, a soaking tub, and a shower.
If you book a Polynesian One Bedroom Villa, be sure to visit the beautiful terrace gardens that are only accessible to guests of the Island Tower. Two of these gardens even offer fireworks views of the Magic Kingdom!
Kidani Village
Animal Kingdom Villas includes both Jambo House and Kidani Village. While the rooms in these buildings are very similar in decor and in layout, only the One Bedroom Villas in Kidani Village have the extra full bathroom. One full bathroom is near the front entrance of the villa, and a second, larger full bathroom is located by the bedroom. The one by the entrance has a tub/shower combo, while the one just off the bedroom has both a soaking tub and a separate shower.
Like Bay Lake Tower, Kidani recently completed its full refurbishment, so you are now guaranteed to stay in a freshly renovated room!
Grand Californian
If you’re traveling to Disneyland, it’s hard to beat the location of the Grand Californian with its private entrance to Disney California Adventure and proximity to Downtown Disney. The One Bedroom Villas at the Grand Californian have two full bathrooms: one that is closer to the living room and one that is in the master bedroom. The bathroom near the living room has a walk-in shower, while the bathroom in the bedroom has a shower and a whirlpool tub, a feature that has been removed from a lot of the more recently refurbished rooms.
The Grand Californian is set to undergo a second phase of refurbishment starting in late 2026, and it is expected that bathroom renovations will be a priority for this round of updates.
The Villas at Disneyland Hotel
The newest DVC Resort at Disneyland Resort is the Villas at Disneyland Hotel, which pays homage to Disney animation. The One Bedroom Villas are both modern and whimsical with decor themed after Fantasia or The Princess and the Frog. You’ll find the first of two full bathrooms just outside of the dining area. This smaller bathroom has a walk-in shower. The second full bathroom is larger and can be found in the master bedroom. It has a tub as well as a walk-in shower.
