What’s New at Walt Disney World in 2025
As 2024 comes to a close, there are so many new things coming to Disney World in 2025! Here’s a look at what’s coming to each of the theme parks plus the water parks next year.
Magic Kingdom
If you miss the Main Street Electrical Parade and Spectromagic Parade of years past, get ready for the new nighttime parade, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away! Debuting in summer 2025, the parade will include favorite characters from films like “Peter Pan,” “Encanto,” “Frozen,” and “Moana” as the Blue Fairy from “Pinocchio” uses the magic of starlight to illuminate the parade floats and character costumes.
Fans of the classic Pirates of the Caribbean will enjoy the new Pirates of the Caribbean-inspired tavern that will open in Adventureland in late 2025. The tavern is going to be open to guests of all ages and will offer a selection of drinks and food as well as some surprises.
EPCOT
In late spring 2025, the iconic Spaceship Earth will have its own lounge that celebrates the history and future of EPCOT. The elegant and intimate Spaceship Earth Lounge has beautiful views of World Celebration Gardens and fireworks views!
In late summer 2025, you can experience the newly reimagined Test Track! The latest version of the ride will have a brand new storyline.
Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studios will debut not one but two new shows in summer 2025! First up is Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After. The live show will star villains such as Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, and Maleficent.
In summer 2025, become a part of Ariel’s world with The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure. The stage show features new sets, puppets, live performers, and visual effects. You can look forward to favorites like “Under the Sea” and “Part of Your World.”
Animal Kingdom
By winter 2025, the Tree of Life Theater will be home to a new show: Zootopia: Better Zoogether! The 4D attraction will allow guests to follow Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde on a new adventure.
Water Parks
A great new perk for all Disney resort guests in 2025 is complimentary access to Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach on your arrival day. If you happen to have a split stay (i.e., you are staying at more than one resort throughout the duration of your trip), you can visit a water park for free on each of your check-in days!
