Ways to Customize Your DVC Rental Reservation
You’ve booked your DVC Resort, and now you’re excitedly counting down the days until your Disney vacation! As you begin planning out your park days and dining reservations, you may want to think about whether there are any other details that can make your trip more magical. Here are some things that you can do to enhance your DVC rental reservation.
Add the Disney Dining Plan
The Disney Dining Plan is a way of paying in advance for your meals at Disney World. You can choose among a quick service plan, table service plan, or deluxe table service plan (starting in 2027). Some guests enjoy the Disney Dining Plan as a way of budgeting in advance and making their trips feel all-inclusive and more carefree once they are on Disney property.
If you would like to add the dining plan to your rental reservation, the renting Member will need to add it for you. This can be done up to 30 days before your arrival. To make this request, go to the guest portal to submit your information and payment, and a member of the Reservation Specialist Team will contact the renting Member to have the plan added for you.

Make a Room Request
Sometimes having a specific room or location request can truly add to your resort experience. Requests can include staying in a specific building or section of the resort or even general requests such as being near the elevators or on the ground floor. To submit this type of request, contact DVC Rental Store, and a member of the Reservation Specialist Team will work with the DVC Member to place the request with DVC Member Services. Just note that these are simply requests and not guaranteed to be fulfilled.

Update Your Guest List
One of the benefits of staying in a DVC villa is having more space, and sometimes that means you may have room to invite more guests to join in on the magic with you! Luckily with your rental reservation, you get one complimentary guest list change, which can be made up to 30 days before your check-in date. To update your list, reply to the reservation email and include the change you would like to make to your guest list. The renting DVC Member will then make those changes on your behalf. Note that any guest list changes are subject to Disney’s policies on room capacity. Not sure how many guests your room can accommodate? Check this list of DVC room capacities to find out.
