Watching Fireworks from Disney’s BoardWalk Villas

February 6, 2023
By

Disney’s BoardWalk Villas is not one of the DVC resorts that has a special fireworks view booking category.  However, you can still find some locations to catch the fireworks from EPCOT.  Here are some of the best places to view them!

The Bridge Between the BoardWalk and Beach Club

Walking past The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers along the boardwalk and continuing towards the Beach Club, you’ll see a bridge that the Friendship boats go under to drop off guests in EPCOT.  From this bridge, you won’t be able to see World Showcase Lagoon itself or hear any music from the show, but this spot will give you the least obstructed view of the fireworks.

Near Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance Hall

Take a seat on one of the benches near Atlantic Dance Hall to catch of view of fireworks.

On the opposite end of the boardwalk are Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance Hall.  From that side, you’ll be able to view the larger fireworks from EPCOT, and you can even spot some fireworks from Magic Kingdom peeking out over the Yacht Club across Crescent Lake.  To make your night even more enjoyable, find a bench and eat some ice cream from BoardWalk Ice Cream as you watch the fireworks!

Bridge Between BoardWalk and Swan and Dolphin Hotels

If you were to walk away from Atlantic Dance Hall and towards the Swan and Dolphin hotels, you’ll come across another bridge.  When facing Crescent Lake, this is another spot where you can catch the larger fireworks from EPCOT.

The BoardWalk View villas have wonderful views of Crescent Lake and the lively boardwalk below!  They even have partial fireworks views of EPCOT from their balconies, so you can catch the larger fireworks over the trees.  The higher floors will have a better vantage point.  Note that there are very few BoardWalk View villas available, so they are the hardest to book at the resort.  If you specifically want a BoardWalk View villa, your best bet is to book your stay at 11 months out from your preferred check-in date.

If you would like to stay at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas to enjoy some of these views, browse the DVC Rental Store’s confirmed reservations or inquire about renting points for a future stay!
