The Top 5 Largest DVC Studios
Although you will find Studios at nearly every DVC resort, they are not all equal. From the compact Tower Studios at Riviera and Duo Studios at the Villas at Disneyland Hotel to the more spacious Deluxe Studios at the Polynesian, there’s a wide range of sizes. #5: Deluxe Studio at Disney’s Old Key West Resort
As the oldest DVC resort, Old Key West has some of the largest villas of all the DVC resorts. This includes its Deluxe Studios. At 390 square feet, the Old Key West Deluxe Studios are around 30 square feet larger than the average DVC Deluxe Studio. It is also one of the few that has two regular queen size beds rather than a queen size bed and a Murphy bed. The Old Key West Deluxe Studio sleeps up to 4 guests.
#4: Deluxe Studio at Disney’s Riviera Resort
The beautiful Deluxe Studio at Riviera is the next largest studio at 423 square feet. It has a split bath featuring both a shower and a shower/tub combo. The Riviera Deluxe Studio sleeps up to 5 guests, unlike the Tower Studios at Riviera that only sleep up to 2 guests.
#3: Resort Studio at the Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian
At the Grand Floridian, there are two different types of studios: the Deluxe Studio in the original DVC building and the Resort Studios in Big Pine Key that were converted from hotel rooms to DVC rooms. At 440 square feet, the Resort Studio beats out the Deluxe Studio at the Grand Floridian by 66 square feet. The Resort Studio sleeps up to 5 guests with two queen beds and a sofa bed. It has a beverage center in place of a kitchenette that includes a beverage cooler, microwave, and coffee maker.
#2: Deluxe Studio at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows
At 447 square feet, the Deluxe Studio at the Polynesian is currently the largest studio among the Disney World DVC resorts. Like the Deluxe Studios at Riviera and Grand Floridian, those at the Polynesian have a split bathroom with both a shower and a shower/tub combo. The Polynesian Deluxe Studios sleep up to 5 guests.
#1: Deluxe Studio at Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort
The Disney World DVC resorts aren’t the only ones with large studios. At Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort in South Carolina, the Deluxe Studios are 455 square feet. This makes the Hilton Head Deluxe Studio the largest studio among the DVC resorts. It sleeps up to 4 guests.
