Summer 2024 Disney Cruise Line Sailings Announced

March 23, 2023
By

Disney has just announced its Summer 2024 Disney Cruise Line sailings! Set sail on a number of exciting itineraries for 2024 and beyond, including trips to Alaska, the Caribbean, Europe, and more. Here are the details!

Summer 2024 DCL Itineraries

First Lighthouse Point Sailings

Families can look forward to visiting Disney Cruise Line’s latest island destination at Lighthouse Point in The Bahamas starting in June 2024.

This beach retreat is specifically designed to cater to families and has been developed with sustainability and conservation in mind, infused with Bahamian artistry and energy. Lighthouse Point kicks off with a seven-night inaugural cruise aboard the Disney Fantasy from Port Canaveral, Florida, on June 8. The itinerary includes two stops at Lighthouse Point, as well as a day at Castaway Cay. A three-night preview cruise on the Disney Magic from Fort Lauderdale will take place on June 6, offering a sneak peek of Lighthouse Point with limited access to some areas.

After the inaugural cruise, Lighthouse Point will be a featured stop on select three-, four-, and five-night sailings to The Bahamas and the Caribbean on the Disney Magic departing from Fort Lauderdale. These itineraries will alternate between stops at Lighthouse Point and Castaway Cay, with five special sailings offering both Disney Cruise Line island destinations.

European Destinations Aboard the Disney Dream

In summer 2024, the Disney Dream will be returning to some of Europe’s most sought-after destinations, including the Mediterranean, Greek Isles, British Isles, Norwegian Fjords, and Iceland. Sailing with Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie at the helm, these itineraries will offer travelers the opportunity to visit several new ports of call, such as Valencia in Spain, Haugesund in Norway, and Hamburg in Germany. Additionally, three Mediterranean destinations – Catania in Italy, Kusadasi in Turkey, and Valletta in Malta – will be returning for the first time since 2014.

Depending on the destination, cruises departing from Barcelona and Civitavecchia (Rome) will range from five to 11 nights, while northern Europe and British Isles sailings will have itineraries varying from three nights to a 12-night voyage that includes the Norwegian fjords, three days in Iceland, and an overnight stay in Reykjavik. It’s the perfect opportunity for travelers to explore some of the most incredible destinations in Europe while experiencing the magic of Disney at sea.

Set Sail to Alaska Aboard the Disney Wonder

From May through September 2024, families will have more opportunities to experience the natural beauty and adventure of Alaska on board the Disney Wonder, departing from Vancouver, Canada. With five-, seven-, and nine-night sailings, passengers will have the chance to witness majestic wildlife and stunning landscapes in iconic places like Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, and glacier viewing along the Stikine Icecap. Along with Disney’s exceptional entertainment, dining, and guest service, this family-friendly vacation will celebrate the spirit of Alaska both on land and at sea.

Cruise the Caribbean on the Wish, Fantasy, and Magic

During summer 2024, the Disney Fantasy and Disney Wish, which are both based at Port Canaveral, will travel to sun-soaked islands in The Bahamas and Caribbean. Castaway Cay, a charming private island oasis in The Bahamas, will be included on all sailings of these ships. The Disney Wish will offer three- and four-night Bahamian vacations, while the Disney Fantasy will embark on seven-night cruises to popular ports in the eastern and western Caribbean. On one five-night Disney Fantasy voyage in July, guests can visit Nassau and enjoy two stops at Castaway Cay. There will also be a special 10-night southern Caribbean sailing that offers another opportunity to visit Lighthouse Point, with additional stops at the islands of Antigua, St. Lucia, Dominica, Tortola, and Castaway Cay.

A full list of Summer 2024 sailings can be found on the Disney Cruise Line website.
