Paying Your Disney Vacation Club Annual Dues
As the calendar flips to a new year, it’s officially time to pay your Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Annual Dues. These dues are a fundamental part of DVC ownership, helping to cover the operational costs of the resorts, and they play a significant role in maintaining the magic of your membership. Let’s break down what you need to know about paying your dues and how the DVC Rental Store can assist if you’re feeling the pinch.
When Are Dues Due?
DVC Annual Dues are officially “due” on January 15, 2025, with payments considered past due starting February 15, 2025. Members enrolled in monthly autopay must set this up by January 15, 2025.
How Do I Pay My Annual Dues?
There are several ways to pay your DVC Annual Dues, each with its benefits and considerations:
- Pay in Full Online
Log into the DVC Member website to pay your dues using a bank account, credit card, or Disney Gift Cards. Many Members take advantage of discounted gift card offers to save on their dues. - Pay in Full AutoPay
Set up autopay to automatically charge your dues in a lump sum annually. While convenient, this method doesn’t allow you to use gift cards or take advantage of credit card rewards. - Monthly Payments
Spread your dues across 12 payments via monthly autopay using a U.S. bank account. Note that gift cards and credit cards cannot be used for this method. - Mail a Check
Prefer the old-fashioned way? You can mail a check to the following addresses:- Regular Mail:

Offsetting Annual Dues by Renting Your Points
Many Members choose to rent out unused or excess points through the DVC Rental Store to help offset the cost of their dues. This option is particularly helpful for those who might not have travel plans this year but want to avoid their points going to waste. Renting your points can significantly reduce or even completely cover your annual dues, making it an excellent financial strategy.
If you’d like to explore renting your points, there’s still time before dues are past due! You can get started on our website or contact our team at MemberManagement@DVCRentalStore.com, and we’ll guide you through the process.
What Happens if I Don’t Pay My DVC Annual Dues?
Failing to pay your dues has serious consequences, including:
- Late Fees and Interest: Starting February 15, 2025, late fees and monthly interest will be added to your balance.
- Account Lockout: Disney Vacation Club typically locks Members out of their accounts around March 1st, if no attempt to pay has been made.
- Reservation Cancellations: Active reservations in your account will be canceled if dues remain unpaid. This is critical for Members renting points, as replacement costs for reservations become the Members responsibility and can far exceed potential rental earnings.
- Liens and Contract Forfeiture: Continued non-payment can result in a lien on your contract and eventual forfeiture of your ownership.
