If you’re staying at Saratoga Springs or Old Key West, or simply want a day outside of the parks, Disney Springs is a great place to visit for shopping, dining, and entertainment! Here are some things you shouldn’t miss at Disney Springs.

Visit World of Disney

This is the largest Disney merchandise store.  You’ll find a wide selection of clothes, toys, home goods, and more!  The store can get busy. However, it also offers mobile checkout through the My Disney Experience app, so you can skip the long lines at the register.

Indulge in Dining

Steak frites from Wine Bar George

Disney Springs is home to some of the best restaurants in all of Disney World!  Fan favorites include Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ for southern comfort food, The Boathouse for seafood, Wine Bar George for an array of wines and great small plates, and Raglan Road for Irish pub food.  If you prefer quick service dining, try delicious options like D-Luxe Burger, Chicken Guy, and the award-winning Polite Pig.

Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth

Perhaps the most well-known destination is Gideon’s Bakehouse for their incredible half-pound cookies and tall layer cakes.  For gourmet donuts, there’s also Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew.  For more ornate goodies, visit Amorette’s Patisserie for specialty pastries or The Ganachery for decadent chocolate treats.

If you want some classic Disney confectionary treats like rice crispy treats, cookies, cupcakes, and candy, head to Disney’s Candy Cauldron or Goofy’s Candy Company, both of which offer mobile order via My Disney Experience.

If ice cream is a must, you can choose from classic sundaes at Ghirardelli or Haagen-Dazs, or more adventurous flavors at the innovative Salt & Straw.  Dole Whip fans can try different flavors of Dole Whip at Swirls on the Water.  For over 20 flavors of artisanal gelato, head to Vivoli il Gelato.

Enjoy Live Entertainment

In addition to finding live entertainment at restaurants like Raglan Road, The Edison, or House of Blues or shows like Drawn to Life Presented by Cirque Du Soleil, you’ll often find live music throughout Disney Springs.  You’ll come across performances on the AdventHealth Waterside Stage in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs or the stage in The Landing section of Disney Springs.

Go for a Unique Experience

Disney Springs doesn’t have rides beyond the Marketplace Carousel and Marketplace Train Express.  However, it does offer some cool experiences like the Aerophile and Vintage Amphicar Tours.  The Aerophile is an 8-minute ride in a hot air balloon.  On a clear day, you can see stunning views as far as 10 miles away.  The Vintage Amphicar Tours are 20-minute rides along Lake Buena Vista in a rare amphicar that both drives on land and floats on water!

Catch a Special Event
