How to Order Groceries to Your DVC Rental with Publix
We often get asked by guests, “What are some of the benefits are of renting a Disney Vacation Club Villa?”
While the obvious answer is saving up to 65% off regular Disney room rates, today, I thought we would discuss something a bit more “appetizing”!
If you are anything like me, one of the perks of having a one-bedroom or two-bedroom villa is that it comes with a fully equipped kitchen so that you can whip up and meal and save even more on your Disney vacation. With DVC Rental Store’s proud partnership with Publix, I thought it would be great to put this service to the test on our most recent visit to Walt Disney World!
Step 1: Ordering Your Groceries
Publix and Instacart make the process of ordering groceries and having them delivered to your DVC Villa an absolute breeze!
First things first, you will want to head to our website or click the link below to begin your grocery order. From here, you will be walk through the online setup process before you can start to order your groceries. You then pick the items you want, schedule a delivery time and location, and pay right within the app or website. I would recommend placing this order a day or two before your check-in so that you are guaranteed to receive the groceries when and where you want them.

Step 2: Chat with Your Instacart Shopper
With your groceries ordered, you are free to hit the parks or lounge by the pool and enjoy your day!
Approximately 2-3 hours before your delivery time, you will begin to receive updates about your order from your personal Instacart Shopper. In this case, our shopper, Camille, kept us updated by text, allowing us to modify or swap out unavailable items and make any last-minute additions to your order (like my lost tube of toothpaste).
You can also track your grocery order status on the Instacart website or mobile app (Android / Apple).
Your shopper will then inform you that they are on their way with your groceries!
Step 3: Pick-Up Your Groceries
Worried that your delivery window will interfere with your rest and relaxation or park day?
As long as you have not ordered any alcoholic beverages, your personal Instacart Shopper can deliver your groceries to Bell Services so that you can continue to enjoy your day! Bell Services charges a $6 fee to your room account if you would like these delivered to your room later in the day.
Otherwise, you can plan to meet them outside the front lobby of your hotel and retrieve them yourself.
It is important to note that deliveries containing alcohol must be picked up by an adult 21 years or older with a valid photo ID and cannot be left with Bell Services.
