How Do DVC Rental Store’s Prices Compare to Disney’s Summer 2025 Promos?

April 7, 2025
By

Disney recently announced several promotions for families looking to visit Walt Disney World this summer.  These special deals include discounts on park tickets, a free dining plan offer, and discounts on hotel rooms.  While these offers can help families save, how do these deals compare to DVC Rental Store’s prices?

Room-Only Pricing

Let’s start with Disney’s room deals.  You can save up to 30% on select Disney hotel rooms from August 1 to October 11, 2025.  Rooms include DVC villas.  In fact, looking at the first week of August, you can book a Boardwalk View Deluxe Studio at the BoardWalk Villas for $555.38 per night with the Stay Longer and Save More deal.  That’s a savings off the Standard Price of $740.50 per night.

Cash stay pricing through Disney

However, for that same week, DVC Rental Store has a confirmed reservation for a Boardwalk View Deluxe Studio for $504 a night.  That looks like a difference of about $51 per night, but that’s before factoring in taxes for Disney’s price.  (DVC Rental Store’s prices already include taxes.) Resort taxes are about 12.5%, which makes the Disney cash stay cost $624.80 per night.  That means you would save $120.80 per night by renting through DVC Rental Store, which is a savings of about 20% compared to the cash price through Disney!

Ticket Pricing

For summer 2025, Disney is offering two different ticket deals: 50% off kids tickets for 3 days or longer and a 3-day, 3-park ticket starting at $267 plus tax. The kids tickets are hard to beat, but what about ticket pricing for the adults in your travel party?

Sticking with the example above of a vacation the first week of August, the special 3-day, 3-park ticket costs $324 plus tax, which is $345.06.  This ticket is good for EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom but is not valid for admission to Magic Kingdom.  However, for most guests Magic Kingdom is a must-do.  In that case, this summer ticket deal may not be a good fit despite the enticing price.

If you want the option of visiting Magic Kingdom, you can purchase a regular 3-day, 3-park ticket for $488.41, including tax, through Disney. Through DVC Rental Store, you can buy that same 3-day, 3-park ticket that allows you to visit Magic Kingdom for a total of $456.31.  That’s a savings of $32.10 compared to buying your ticket through Disney.

Summer is closer than you think!  Start planning now for your Disney World summer vacation by browsing the confirmed reservations or requesting a free quote.  With DVC Rental Store, you get the best accommodations at Disney World while saving up to 65% compared to booking directly through Disney!
