Helpful Online Resources for Your Next Disney World Trip
Disney offers a wealth of information for guests heading to Disney World, but sometimes it’s easy to overlook some great resources to help with planning your dining or resort activities. Keep reading for some online resources that you can use for your next Disney World vacation.
Allergy-Friendly Menus
Dining can be an important part of your vacation, but if you have specific dietary concerns, a big concern may be knowing which dishes are safe for you. Disney World makes it easier to research in advance by sharing the allergy-friendly menus online for many of its table service and quick service restaurants and lounges. On these menus, each dish lists which of the Big 9 food allergies (egg, fish/shellfish, gluten/wheat, milk, peanut/tree nut, sesame, and soy) it is safe for.
While you should still speak to a cast member when you are at the restaurant, reviewing the allergy-friendly menus goes a long way when planning which restaurants to try during your trip.

Open Table for Dining Reservations
My Disney Experience and the Disney World website are your go-tos for booking advanced dining reservations. However, there are some third-party restaurants at Disney World that are on Open Table. These include:
- Amare
- The Boathouse
- Bourbon Steak
- The Edison
- Il Mulino
- Jaleo
- Morimoto Asia
- Plancha
- Raglan Road Irish Pub
- Ravello
- Rosa Mexicano
- Todd English’s bluezoo
- STK Orlando
- Summer House on the Lake
- Wine Bar George
- Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill
When you can’t find a reservation on My Disney Experience or the Disney World website, it’s always worth checking OpenTable. Plus, some of these reservations open earlier on Open Table, so you can get a jump start on reserving some delicious meals!

Resort Activity Calendars
In the past, you would have had to wait until you arrived on property to see the recreational activities offered at your resort. However, Disney recently updated the recreation sections of the resort websites, so you can now view a PDF of the Activities Schedules. On these schedules you’ll find info such as hours for community hours, which movies are playing for Movie Under the Stars, and any special tours, arts and crafts, or scavenger hunts.

Animal Kingdom Villas Animal Viewing Guide
When you stay at Animal Kingdom Villas, one of the biggest highlights is spotting the animals on the resort’s savannas. To enhance this experience, it’s great to have a copy of the Wildlife Spotting Guide, which you can view in advance or obtain via a QR code at the front desk. This guide lists the species you can find at the resort and provides fun facts about each of them.
