Prime Location
Whenever you plan to visit a festival in EPCOT, there is no better place to stay than the Beach Club. You can walk from the resort to the back entrance of EPCOT (International Gateway) in a matter of minutes. Hollywood Studios is also within walking distance. If you don’t feel like walking, you can take the Friendship boats or the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios.
Best Resort Pool on Property
One of the biggest perks of staying at the Beach Club is access to its 3-acre feature pool, Stormalong Bay. Stormalong Bay is arguably the best resort pool on Walt Disney World property with its incredible shipwreck-themed slide, lazy river, and sandy bottom.
Refreshed Rooms
In 2023, the Beach Club Villas are undergoing a soft goods refurbishment. The refreshment is expected to be complete in early April 2023, so guests arriving late spring and onward can look forward to updated rooms! These new rooms feature new paint, carpeting, curtains, upholstery, outlets with USB and USB-C ports, and a queen-size Murphy bed to replace the old sofa bed. The update also includes new artwork with Donald Duck, Huey, Dewey, and Louie enjoying the Beach Club.
Low Points Chart
As one of the older DVC resorts, the Beach Club has relatively low point values. Deluxe Studios start at as few as 14 points a night, and Two Bedroom Villas (the largest accommodation at the Beach Club Villas) start at 36 points a night. With lower point values, you can stay more days at a lower cost!
Great Quiet Spaces
While the resort’s proximity to two parks and Stormalong Bay are some of the biggest reasons to stay at the Beach Club, its relaxed atmosphere is also a plus. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, there are some great quiet spaces at this resort. Within the villas building itself, you’ll find the peaceful Breezeway and the Drawing Room. There is also the Solarium off the main lobby.
