DVC Banking Deadlines Explained:
One of the great features of Disney Vacation Club is having flexibility when it comes to using your points. If you don’t have plans to use your DVC points this year, you have the ability to bank them and use them next year. Let’s take a look at how to manage your banking deadline and what to do if you miss it.
When Is My Banking Deadline?
Banking deadlines depend on your Use Year:
| Use Year | Banking Deadline |
| February | September 30 |
| March | October 31 |
| April | November 30 |
| June | January 31 |
| August | March 31 |
| September | April 30 |
| October | May 31 |
| December | July 31 |
What Kinds of Points Can Be Banked?
You can bank points from the current Use Year. However, points that have been previously banked or borrowed cannot. If you have any unused one-time-use points, they expire at the end of your Use Year and cannot be banked either.
How Do I Bank My Points?
You can bank your points on the DVC website. Once logged in, go to the My DVC tab and click on Bank My Vacation Points. When you are within your banking window, you’ll see the option to bank your points.

What Can I Do If I Am Outside My Banking Deadline?
It often helps to set an annual calendar reminder so you don’t forget your banking deadline, but when life gets busy, it’s easy to forget. Should your banking deadline pass and you have points that you cannot bank, you don’t have to let those points go to waste. Instead, you can rent them out.
Contact the DVC Rental Store, and they will match your points with a Guest’s request and help you turn those unused points into cash before they expire.
