Disney World June 2026 Schedule: Events, Closures & More

June 2, 2026
By

It’s time to celebrate if you’re like Olaf and have always loved the idea of summer and sun and all things hot. Cool Kids’ Summer is on at Walt Disney World Resort bringing more magic for families to enjoy together. This seasonal overlay has fun at certain resorts and in all four theme parks. Here’s is a list of the new offerings and more of what’s on the Disney World June 2026 schedule of events.

Must See and More at Disney World in June 2026: Cool Kids’ Summer Fun

Cool Kids’ Summer Happenings at Disney World in June

  • Animation Courtyard at Hollywood Studios: Visit with roaming character friends like Pluto, Goofy, and others or catch an outdoor juggling show or band performance. (Some of the characters will have a permanent meet-and-greet space inside The Magic of Disney Animation building when it opens later this summer.)
  • Bluey at Animal Kingdom: Though it opened with a virtual queue, starting June 2, the Bluey and Bingo meet and greet is accessible by standby line. Get in line for the Wildlife Express Train in the Africa area of the park. It will take you to Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station, where you can expect dancing, games like Keepy Uppy, and animals native to Australia.
  • GoofyCore at Epcot: Join Goofy for indoor games and fun inside Epcot’s CommuniCore Hall. This space is redecorated seasonally and geared toward littles for the summer.
  • Jesse’s Roundup at Magic Kingdom: Inside the Diamond Horseshoe venue in Frontierland, Jesse, Woody, and Bullseye host singing, dancing, games, and more.

Annual Passholder Reservations Updated in App

We know many DVC fans are Walt Disney World annual passholders. It just got easier for you to make a park reservation.

In the Disney World app, you’ll still select the plus sign in the circle on the bottom menu. From there, you’ll select Make or Modify Park Reservations. Then you can make reservations right in the app instead of being taken to a mobile browser on your device to sign in and do it on the website.

You can also just scroll down on this screen to see different reservations that you and your contacts have made.

The in app set up is much cleaner now with the ability to see which park you have a reservation for when you go to modify. You can also modify one person’s reservation without modifying others on the same initial confirmation. The functionality is much better overall, with some key, clarifying terms populating when you go to make additions or changes.

If passholders must continue to make park reservations, at least it’s more organized and easier to access.

What’s New for Summer 2026

In addition to the Cool Kids’ Summer offerings mentioned above, here are some things that reopened or debuted recently:

  • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad reopened after extensive refurbishment.
  • The Mandalorian and Grogu debuted on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.
  • Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! is open at Hollywood Studios.
  • Soarin’ Across America celebrates the 250th anniversary of the United States of America.
  • Disney resort guests can get into a water park for free on their check-in day through September 8.
