Coming Soon: The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort will be the next DVC resort! Projected to open in summer 2024, the resort will include more than 350 new cabins that will replace the existing ones at Fort Wilderness. Here’s what we know about the cabins so far.
Room Layout

The one-bedroom/one-bathroom private cabins will have floor-to-ceiling windows and sleep up to 6 guests. The full kitchen will have a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and full-size oven and range. Within the living area will be a dining nook, 65-inch TV, and a Murphy bed to offer seating during the day and a queen-size bed at night. The bedroom will feature a queen-size bed, twin-size bunk beds, 55-inch TV, closet, and nightstand. Outside the cabin will be a patio deck equipped with a charcoal grill.
Dining Options

Guests staying at the cabins will be able to enjoy the fan favorite Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue for an all-you-care-to-eat dinner and a show as well as Crockett’s Tavern for drinks and bites or The Chuck Wagon for burgers, hot dogs, and chicken nuggets. There will also be a brand new spot, Trail’s End Marketplace, for quick grab-and-go options, coffee, and quick service entrees.
Pet-Friendly Cabins
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness will be the first DVC resort to offer some pet-friendly accommodations. Guests will be able to bring up to 2 dogs per cabin. The resort has already set some Pet Rules to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for everyone.
Recreational Activities

Even though Fort Wilderness is just a boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom, it is also home to lots of recreational activities for resort-only days. There is everything from trail and pony rides to fishing excursions and archery. You’ll also find two pools: the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool with a corkscrew waterslide and the Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool, which is the leisure pool with a whirlpool spa. At the end of the day, stop by Clementine Beach for fireworks views of the Magic Kingdom and the Electrical Water Pageant. Over at the Campground Theater, catch Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long!
Bookings for The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness are not available yet, but stay tuned for updates as more information becomes available.
