Best Quick Service Restaurants at Disney World
Some guests assume that quick service dining at Disney World consists of burgers and chicken fingers. While you can certainly find burgers and chicken fingers if that’s what you enjoy, you can also find better quality quick service options with more interesting entrees to try! Here are some of the best Disney World quick service restaurants based on location.
Magic Kingdom
Out of the four theme parks, the Magic Kingdom is often considered the weakest when it comes to food. However, Columbia Harbor House in Liberty Square offers some tasty options for seafood lovers. You’ll find fried fish, fried shrimp, grilled salmon, grilled shrimp, shrimp boil, and lobster rolls. If you aren’t a fan of seafood, there are chicken fingers. Columbia Harbor House has plenty of indoor seating since it has a second floor.
EPCOT
Eating around the world is part of the fun of visiting EPCOT! In the France Pavilion, Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie is the perfect spot for sandwiches, fresh pastries, and more. You’ll find classics like a ham and cheese croissant, croque monsieur, quiche Lorraine, eclair, napoleon, macaron, and chocolate mousse. You can also find wine, champagne, and frosé.
Hollywood Studios
In Galaxy’s Edge, head to Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo where Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs has docked a food freighter. While the menu items may sound foreign thanks to their galactic names, the entrees are actually familiar like braised beef, fried chicken, BBQ ribs, plant-based meatballs, and tuna poke. Kids’ meals include fried chicken, pasta with a plant-based meat sauce, and veggie dippers.
Animal Kingdom
Satu’li Canteen in Pandora – The World of Avatar is a great option for creating your own entree. With their bowls, you choose a protein, base, and sauce to customize it to your liking. Proteins include beef, chicken, shrimp, and crispy tofu. Bases are rice and beans, potato hash, or noodles, and sauces are black bean vinaigrette, green onion vinaigrette, or a creamy herb sauce.
Kids who like more basic foods will enjoy the cheeseburger pods, which are essentially cheeseburgers in a steamed bun.
Disney Springs
There are several great quick service restaurants in Disney Springs, but the standout option is Polite Pig. Located in Town Center, this restaurant offers barbecue and a wide range of whiskies. While the ribs, pulled pork, and brisket are delicious, don’t overlook the sides like the whiskey-caramel brussels sprouts, burnt ends chili, and waffle fries.
If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, Polite Pig is a great value for your counter service meal credit. Annual passholders and DVC members also get a good value with 10% off at Polite Pig.
