Best Disney World Enchanting Extras for Under $50

May 19, 2026
By

Disney World vacations can be pricey, but you don’t have to spend a lot to enjoy some special experiences, which Disney refers to as Enchanting Extras.  Guests at Disney Resorts (including DVC Resorts) can book these experiences on the Disney World website up to 60 in advance of your check-in date.  For your next trip to Disney World, consider these Enchanting Extras for under $50:

Pony Rides at Fort Wilderness

If you are traveling with young children and staying at the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, head down to Tri-Circle-D Ranch for pony rides for $10 per person.  No reservations are needed. Rides are available for children who are at least 3 years of age, under 80 pounds, 48 inches tall or under, and able to hang on by themselves.  While you’re there, you may be able to spot Cinderella’s ponies!

Harmony Barber Shop

Did you know that the barber shop on Main Street, U.S.A. is an actual working barber shop?  The quaint shop is best known for the My First Haircut package for toddlers, which includes a haircut, keepsake lock of hair, certificate, and commemorative Mickey ear hat for $25.  Harmony Barber Shop also offers haircuts for kids under 9 for $18 and haircuts for adults for $19.  When you’re all spiffed up with your freshly cut hair, you can also get a sprinkle of pixie dust.

Behind the Seeds

If you love Living with the Land, this is the tour for you! You get a backstage walking tour of the four greenhouses and fish farm within The Land Pavilion. In addition to learning about the crops and fish, you’ll learn about the latest plant-growing techniques. Behind the Seeds is one of the most affordable tours at Disney World at $39 to $49 per person.

Caring for Giants and Up Close with Rhinos

Animal Kingdom fans will appreciate the next two Enchanting Extras that get you closer to the incredible animals. First is Caring for Giants, a 60-minute backstage experience where you get to see elephants from 80 to 100 feet away and learn how cast members take care of them. Caring for Giants is $39 per person.

Second is Up Close with Rhinos, which is a tour that gives guests a chance to meet white rhinos backstage and learn all about them. The 60-minute experience is $49 per person.

While you’re saving on those Enchanting Extras, be sure to save on your accommodations by renting DVC points! You’ll save up to 65% compared to booking directly through Disney. Browse the confirmed reservations, or request a free quote.
