3 Reasons To Rent At Saratoga Springs During Food & Wine
Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival is wonderful! But booking Food & Wine Disney resort reservations can have you on the edge of your seat. Will you get the reservation you want? Will you have to settle for your second resort? We cover 3 reasons why renting DVC points at Saratoga Springs during Food & Wine is the way to go!
You Can Secure Your Stay Faster
Your reservation can be secured much faster when you book at Saratoga Springs. Why? Well, Saratoga is specifically for DVC (Disney Vacation Club) members only, so we have many DVC Members who own at Saratoga Springs. As they have points at their home resort, they have the ability to book 7-11 months out! This means you can book way in advance and secure your stay.
Pro Tip: When booking more than 5 months in advance, we highly recommend our Point Protection Plan in case you have to cancel.
Availability Is Stronger at Saratoga Springs
As we mentioned earlier, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort is for DVC members. Disney does not allow cash stays. So there is more availability to book here. However, have you been to Saratoga? The land area is massive, so there are a lot more buildings and rooms to choose from as well! Therefore, availability is much stronger at Saratoga Springs than some other DVC resorts.
Close To Disney Springs
Staying at Saratoga Springs means you are only a boat ride (or walking path if you are staying towards the back of the resort) away from Disney Springs! And there’s a secret most people forget: Epcot isn’t the only Disney mecca for Food & Wine lovers. Disney Springs has a lot to offer in the way of wonderful food! And foodies LOVE to visit Disney Springs because it offers top notch restaurants with highly esteemed chefs for authentic food! Raglan Road has a variety of Irish food. Morimoto Asia offers excellent Pan-Asian cuisine. Paddlefish has great seafood selections with more of a Louisiana southern seafood twist. Frontera Cocina specializes in Mexican dishes. And there’s so much more!!
Disney Springs doesn’t just have food specialties. If you are looking for a variety of adult beverages to choose from, they do not disappoint.
Outside of the food & beverage selection, there is so much to do at Disney Springs! The NBA Experience, Splittsville, the Void (which I don’t necessarily recommend for young children). You can shop till you drop at a significant amount of stores, including the World of Disney (think all souvenirs Disney)! And of course, sweet treats abound at Sprinkles, Ghirardelli Ice Cream Shop, Goofy’s Candy Company and more!
Alternative to Saratoga Springs?
If you really don’t like Saratoga, a close second would be Old Key West. It is also close to Disney Springs, and has higher availability. It also has my favorite rooms (they are the largest of any DVC resort – and they are beautiful!!)
