Better Availability
Since the Villas at Disneyland Hotel is actively being sold, there aren’t that many DVC members who own there yet. This relatively lower amount of competition among owners for rooms can help with availability. Plus, as more points are sold, more inventory is declared, and more rooms become available to book. This can make it slightly easier to find a room at the Villas at Disneyland Hotel.
Brand New Rooms
Who doesn’t want to stay in a nice, brand new room? Having just opened in September 2023, the rooms at the Villas at Disneyland Hotel are still fresh. Since every DVC resort has its own unique theming, it’s also exciting to try a resort that is new to you! The vibrant colors and subtle details that celebrate Disney animated films are warm and inviting.
New RunDisney Events
In addition to the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend, runDisney is hosting a brand new Halloween Half Marathon Weekend in 2024! This spooky event will take place from September 5 to 8 and include yoga, kids races, a 5k, 10k, half marathon, and challenge. Staying at the Villas at Disneyland Hotel will keep you close to all the action, and the DVC booking window is already open!
Included Parking
The footnotes on the initial points charts of the Villas at Disneyland Hotel seemed rather vague when it came to parking fees. However, a recent PlanDisney response clarified that “at this time,” standard self-parking is included for guests whose reservations are booked using DVC points. The response goes on to recommend that guests confirm with Member Services as their check-in date approaches. This seems to leave the door open for changes in parking fees in the future.
Relatively Lower Demand
Lots of new projects are in the works at the Disneyland Resort. The Downtown Disney District is undergoing a huge overhaul that includes new restaurants and shops, which is expected to be completed around the end of 2024. Moreover, DisneylandForward proposes new attractions, entertainment, and lands. While Disney is still in the early planning stages of this possible expansion, new offerings at Disneyland could increase demand at the Disneyland Hotel, including the villas, making it harder to book in the more distant future.
