What Unique Amenities Do DVC Rooms Offer?
Beyond offering more space, DVC accommodations also offer more amenities than your average hotel room. When you rent a stay at a DVC Resort, here are the extra amenities that you can look forward to enjoying.
Kitchenettes or Kitchens
In a regular Disney hotel room, you’ll typically find a beverage cooler and a coffee maker. However, in DVC accommodations, you’ll get either a kitchenette or a full kitchen. Duo Studios, Tower Studios, and Deluxe Studios have kitchenettes with coffee makers, mini fridges, microwaves, and toasters, which are perfect for making a quick breakfast or snack. Although Resort Studios at the Grand Floridian have beverage centers instead of kitchenettes, they do have a beverage cooler, coffee maker, and microwave.
One Bedroom Villas, Two Bedroom Villas, Three Bedroom Villas, Cascade Cabins, Treehouse Villas, and Bora Bora Bungalows have full kitchens as well as basic cookware, so you can cook and enjoy meals with your entire travel party.

Private Balconies or Patios
When you stay in a regular hotel room, a private balcony or patio is usually part of an upgraded booking category. With DVC, most rooms have balconies or patios if located on the ground floor. (Some exceptions are certain Resort Studios within the turrets of Big Pine Key at the Grand Floridian and most rooms at the Villas at Disneyland Hotel.) Whether you like to start your day by enjoying a cup of coffee or you want to make the most of a Theme Park View room, balconies are a wonderful amenity that can truly enhance your stay.

Washers and Dryers
With the exception of the Cabins at Fort Wilderness, all of the One Bedroom Villas or larger rooms have their own washer and dryer. Having a washer and dryer within your own room is a huge convenience. If you have little ones who are prone to spills or you simply prefer to go home with a suitcase full of clean laundry, convenient laundry options are a game changer. The ability to do your laundry during your trip also means that you can pack lighter by cleaning a load in the middle of the trip.

Space for Up to 12 Guests
Some Disney Resorts offer family suites for up to 6 people, but the largest of DVC accommodations, the Three Bedroom Grand Villas, can sleep up to 12 guests. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out in the living and dining rooms while still some privacy thanks to the three separate bedrooms and three to four full bathrooms, depending on which resort you choose. It’s a great way to travel comfortably with extended family or more friends!

Private Plunge Pools, Hot Tubs, and More
Some of the most luxurious DVC accommodations, such as the Bora Bora Bungalows at the Polynesian and Cascade Cabins at Copper Creek have some unique amenities. At the Bora Bora Bungalows, you’ll find a private deck with a plunge pool with views of Magic Kingdom. At the Cascade Cabins, you’ll find a private deck with a hot tub and a double-sided fireplace.
