What Happens If You Can’t Find a Match for Your Rental Request?
You’ve submitted your rental request, and now you’re patiently waiting to see when the request will be matched with a DVC Member who can book the reservation for you. However, what happens if your requested resort or room type is unavailable? DVC Rental Store can still help! Here’s what you can do next if you can’t get the reservation you requested.
Look for an Alternative
Renting a DVC stay depends heavily on availability and demand. Some resorts and room types have less inventory than others, and there are also some that are in greater demand than others. If the reservation you originally requested is not available, it may be worth looking for an alternative.
For example, Deluxe Studios tend to be the most popular room type to book at any DVC Resort. If you expand your search to One Bedroom Villas, you may have an easier time finding a match for your request. If you’re more flexible on a resort than room type, you can also consider choosing a resort with a lot of inventory, such as Old Key West, Saratoga Springs, or Kidani Village at Animal Kingdom Villas, which increases your odds of finding a room.
Sometimes being flexible with your travel dates can make a difference as well.
