Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii may not be an all-inclusive resort, but there are still a lot of activities that are included in your stay!  From a private beach, themed pools, waterslides, and a lazy river to character meet and greets, kids’ club activities, and live performances, there is plenty to keep you entertained throughout your vacation in paradise.

Aulani Resort Beach at Ko Olina Lagoon

One of the best parts about staying at Aulani is being able to take in the natural beauty of the Aulani Resort Beach at Ko Olina Lagoon, which boasts blue waters, white sand, and a paved trail.  There are also some fun complimentary activities on the beach such as Ki’i One – Sculptures in the Sand (sand sculpture techniques and a team competition), Toddler Time Splash and Play (a race, sand castles, and treasure hunt for young kids), and North Shore Beach Zone (water and sports activities) and Sunset Mele (a celebration of Hawaiian culture and music) that are specifically for teens.

There are so many different pool areas to enjoy at Aulani!  At Ka Maka Landing, you’ll find Ka Maka Grotto, an infinity-edge pool with views of Ko Olina Beach, as well as the Keiki Cove Splash Zone for kids ages 5 and under.  At the Menehune Bridge, a 2,100 square-foot splash zone, kids under 48” can enjoy waterslides and interactive water elements.

The 8,200 square foot Waikolohe Pool with the Volcanic Vertical body slide is the largest pool at Aulani and open to all guests.  There’s also the Waikolohe Stream that features a relaxing lazy river and the Tubestone Curl tube adventure for a more thrilling experience.  Finally, there is the peaceful Wailana quiet pool with a waterfall and tropical shade trees, which is for guests 18 and over.

Kids Club Activities

At Aunty’s Beach House, kids ages 5 to 12 will find Hawaiian arts and crafts and games with themes that change daily.  There’s also a movie room showing Disney films, magical portals that depict Hawaiian scenery, and enchanted fireplaces.  The beach house is staffed by Disney Youth Counselors with a secure check in and check out process, so parents can rest assured that their kids are supervised and safe.  With the popularity of Aunty’s Beach House, Disney recommends that parents register their children online to reserve programming blocks.
