The Top 5 Largest DVC Three Bedroom Grand Villas
If you want to go on a Disney trip with extended family or a large group of friends, a DVC Three Bedroom Grand Villa may be just the right accommodation for you. Three Bedroom Grand Villas sleep up to 12 guests, but they vary in size. They range from 2,044 square feet to 2,800 square feet. To help plan your next stay in a Grand Villa, below is a ranking of the largest Three Bedroom Villas among the DVC resorts based on square footage.
#5: Animal Kingdom – Jambo House
The Three Bedroom Grand Villa at Jambo House is 2,349 square feet. It has a king size bed in the master bedroom, two bedrooms with two queen size beds each, and a queen size sofa bed in the living room.
All of the Jambo House Grand Villas have a beautiful view of the savanna and large balconies, so you can see the animals right from your villa. You’ll also find a pool table in the living room. There are only 6 Grand Villas at Jambo House, so availability can be limited by the 7-month booking window.
#4: Old Key West
As the oldest DVC resort, Old Key West tends to have some of the larger rooms across all room categories. At 2,375 square feet, the Three Bedroom Grand Villa at Old Key West has a king size bed in the master bedroom, two queen size beds in a second bedroom, two double size beds in a third bedroom, and a queen size sofa bed in the living room. It is a great value with point values starting at 46 points per night in the cheapest travel period.
#3: Grand Californian
The Three Bedroom Grand Villa at the Grand Californian is 2,462 square feet and has two floors. On the first floor is the master bedroom with a king size bed and a queen size sofa bed in the living room. On the second floor are two bedrooms that each have two queen size beds. At the Grand Californian, there are only two Grand Villas. This makes availability tight even for those who own points at the resort.
#2: Disneyland Hotel
At 2,700 square feet is the newest Three Bedroom Grand Villa at the Disneyland Hotel. On the first floor is the master bedroom with a king size bed. On the second floor are two bedrooms with two queen size beds and a single pull-down bed in each. The Grand Villa also has a few unique features like a media center and a double-sided fireplace that connects the living room and the private outdoor balcony.
As with the Grand Californian, there are only two Grand Villas available at the Disneyland Hotel, so it can be very hard to book.
#1: Grand Floridian
With the Grand Floridian being Disney World’s flagship resort, perhaps it is fitting that it has the largest Three Bedroom Grand Villa at 2,800 square feet. In the master bedroom is a king size bed while the two additional bedrooms each have two queen size beds. In the living room is an additional double size sleeper sofa. The Grand Villa also has a media room with a home theater system.
There are six Grand Villas at the Grand Floridian, so availability is limited.
