Special Events Returning to Disney World in Early 2027
Did you know that you can already rent DVC stays through Summer 2027? If you’ve been thinking about visiting Disney World in 2027, Disney has just announced all the returning festivals and special events for early next year. Here are all the special event dates and details you need to know about as you begin planning your 2027 vacation.
EPCOT Festivals
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts
From January 15 to March 1, 2027, Guests can enjoy the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts Presented by Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game. This festival is the shortest of the EPCOT festivals, but for 2027 it has been extended an extra week. As the name implies, Festival of the Arts celebrates different art forms from the culinary arts with beautifully plated masterpieces from the 19 food studios to the performing arts with the Disney on Broadway Concert Series.
Fans of the Lorcana trading card game will find exclusive festival offerings and promotional items only found at Festival of the Arts. They will also be able to enjoy the Ink & Find Scavenger Hunt, the Collection Quest, and the Illumineer’s Lounge.
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival
From March 10 to May 31, 2027, Guests can take in all the beautiful floral landscapes, gardens, and topiaries inspired by favorite Disney characters during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. The festival also offers garden-inspired dishes and beverages at its outdoor kitchens and the Garden Rocks Concert Series with a lineup of popular artists and local musicians from the Orlando area.
Disney After Hours
Disney After Hours are limited-capacity nighttime events that offer a great way to experience the theme parks with lower crowds and lower wait times for popular attractions like TRON Lightcycle / Run, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. If you’re looking for a way to maximize your time in the theme parks, After Hours can be a good alternative to a regular theme park ticket due to the lower wait times and the ability to enter the park a few hours before the events officially begin.
In addition to admission to the parks, tickets to Disney After Hours include complimentary snacks and bottled beverages.
Event Dates
- Magic Kingdom: Select nights January 11 to July 19, 2027
- EPCOT: Select nights January 21 to August 19, 2027
- Hollywood Studios: Select nights January 16 to August 25, 2027
Tickets for 2027 Disney After Hours events are available now for Guests with reservations at Disney-owned-and-operated hotels (including DVC Resorts), Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green. Tickets will be available to the general public on September 22, 2026.
