New Menu Items Coming to Saratoga Springs

August 15, 2023
By

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa isn’t known for its dining options, and many guests opt to visit Disney Springs instead.  However, Disney Parks Blog recently shared that some new menu items will be available at The Artist’s Palette starting on August 9.  The Artist’s Palette is the quick service dining location at Saratoga Springs and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  Let’s take a look at the latest eats!

Breakfast

New to breakfast is the plant-based Avocado Toast.  It has avocado, cherry tomatoes, radish, pickled red onions, arugula, and a plant-based aïoli on toasted sunflower bread.  There is also an update on the French Toast Strata.  In lieu of the maple drizzle, it’s now topped with a crème anglaise.

Lunch/Dinner

For lunch and dinner, there are new sandwiches and entrees.  As a nod to Western New York, there is the Beef on Weck sandwich, which has sliced brisket and horseradish cream on a caraway brioche bun with au jus and Saratoga chips.  There is also the Tuna Salad Sandwich on toasted sunflower bread.

Although The Artist’s Palette already serves a Margherita Pizza, it has been updated with a housemade dough topped with mozzarella, fresh pizza sauce, and basil pistou.

After 4pm, there are new create-your-own entrees.  Choose from Homestyle Meatloaf, Sauteed Garlic Shrimp, or Herb-roasted Chicken and a choice of two sides.  Guests can select Yukon gold mashed potatoes, garlic green beans, roasted rainbow carrots, steamed white rice, or edamame succotash.

Among the new menu items are two grab-and-go options, the Charcuterie and a Turkey BLT.  The Charcuterie includes a selection of cheeses, cured meats, and accompaniments.  The Turkey BLT comes with housemade pimento cheese.

Dessert

There’s always room for dessert, right?  Guests can treat themselves to two new desserts, the Derby Day Pie and a new signature Artist’s Palette Cookie.  The Derby Day Pie consists of a pie shell filled with a chocolate-nut filling and topped with buttercream and a horseshoe.  The Artist’s Palette Cookie is reminiscent of the cookie guests can find at Festival of the Arts.  It is a palette-shaped sugar cookie with icing as the paint and a strawberry biscuit stick as the paint brush.

Try these dishes during your next stay at Saratoga Springs!  You can order them via mobile order in the My Disney Experience app.
