Holidays at Disney World: Special Experiences You Can Enjoy Without a Holiday Party Ticket
Although Mickey’s Very Christmas Party and Disney Jollywood Nights are lots of fun, you don’t need to spend extra on a holiday party ticket to get into the holiday spirit at the Walt Disney World theme parks. In addition to all the beautiful holiday decorations, here’s all the merriment that you can enjoy with a regular theme park ticket!
Magic Kingdom
Most holiday ride overlays are exclusive to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, but you can still catch the Jingle Cruise during the daytime. In this seasonal version of the Jungle Cruise, skippers put a holiday twist on their jokes and puns, and you can also spot Christmas decorations throughout the ride.
Another special touch for the holidays is the Frozen Holiday Surprise stage show. Guests can ring in the season with Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Kristoff as they decorate Cinderella Castle, and Elsa uses her powers to transform the castle into an ice palace.
EPCOT
From November 27 to December 30, 2026, EPCOT hosts the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, which is included with your regular park admission. Guests can learn about different holiday traditions from around the world through storytellers and festival kitchens throughout World Showcase. As guests explore World Showcase, they can also search for Olaf as part of Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt and take home a holiday keepsake as a prize.
Even Living with the Land gets into the holiday spirit as it transforms into the seasonal Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses. As guests ride through the greenhouses, they’ll find seasonal decor and twinkling lights adding a festive touch to the classic attraction.
Hollywood Studios
If you were interested in the holiday parties for the special character appearances, Hollywood Studios may be the place for you. At Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine, you can catch Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, and Pluto in their holiday outfits. Over in Toy Story Land, you can take photos with your favorite toys, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie, all accessorized for the holidays.
Hollywood Studios is all about entertainment, and during the holiday season the Hollywood Tower Hotel puts on a nightly holiday projection show inspired by the Muppets, Toy Story, Mickey’s Christmas Carol, and Frozen. Speaking of Frozen, For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration gets a special holiday finale starring Olaf. For a look into beloved holiday films, visit Walt Disney Presents to see displays of props from Christmas movies as well as short films like Walt Disney’s On Ice, Pluto’s Christmas Tree, andThe Art of Skiing starring Goofy in the attraction’s theater.
Animal Kingdom
During the holidays, you can find some special little critters on Discovery Island, the Merry Menagerie. These adorable penguin, reindeer, fox, and polar bear puppets are very friendly and may even pose for a photo or two. At night, you can catch the Tree of Life Awakenings Holiday Edition which illuminates the Tree of Life about every 10 minutes after sunset until Animal Kingdom closes. Before you leave the park, don’t forget to stop by Adventurers Outpost to visit Mickey and Minnie in their holiday outfits.
