Helpful Tips for the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays

  • Check out the holiday kitchen menus in advance to plan your trip around the World Showcase.  This way, you can prioritize the dishes you would like to try, so you don’t fill up too quickly!
  • If you don’t feel like carrying around the festival passport, you can also find a digital version of the festival guide in the My Disney Experience app.
  • Some of the items are marked as plant-based or gluten/wheat-friendly on the menus.  However, if you have other dietary concerns, speak to a cast member before placing your order.
  • Bring your own bottle of water or a reusable bottle that you can fill at locations like Connections Eatery.  The Holiday Kitchens sell bottled water, but most if not all are unable to provide the free cups of ice water you typically find at quick service dining locations.
  • Holiday Hearth Desserts is located in the Odyssey, so it’s a nice indoor spot for warmer days.  There are also tables and chairs, which make for much more comfortable dining spots than the traditional EPCOT trash can.
  • For the Holiday Cookie Stroll, you do not need to get one of each cookie to get your completer cookie.  You can purchase more than one of the same cookie, and it will still qualify as another stamp on your passport.
  • If you are doing the Cookie Stroll solo or you simply have lots of dishes you would like to try, bring a container to save your cookies for later.  It’s always fun to have some extra treats when you go home!
  • The Candlelight Processional is a holiday tradition for many families, and seats can fill up.  With more popular celebrity narrators, you may need to line up early for a seat.  For a guaranteed seat to a performance, you can reserve a Candlelight Processional Dining Package that includes lunch or dinner at a select EPCOT restaurant and a guaranteed seat at American Gardens Theatre for each person on the dining reservation.

It’s not too late to plan your trip for the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays!  Check out some great Confirmed Reservations from the DVC Rental Store.
