DVC Resort Activities: Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
One of its biggest perks of staying at the Polynesian is its location along the monorail for easy transportation to the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. However, there are lots of activities to do without ever leaving the resort! Below are some of the resort activities you can find at the Polynesian. You can always review the most current resort activities by checking with the resort recreation calendars onsite or asking a cast member.
Games
Aloha After Dark
At 8pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, you’ll find a party on the Great Ceremonial Lawn. Guests can join in glow-in-the-dark games and dancing.
Lava Pool Party
At 3:30pm daily, play games and dance by the Lava Pool!
Lawn Games
Games are held on the Great Ceremonial Lawn on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 7pm.
Video Game Dance Party
On Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8pm, play a game of “Just Dance.” This takes place on the Great Ceremonial Lawn prior to Movie Under the Stars.
Crafts
Craft of the Day
Visit the Seven Seas Marina next to the Lava Pool from 4:30pm to 5:30pm on Tuesdays and Saturdays to create a craft project.
Make Your Own Kukui Nut Leis
From 1pm to 2pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays you can create your own kukui nut leis in the Great Ceremonial House.
Mickey Tie-Dye
Make a Mickey tie-dye t-shirt over at the Seven Seas Marina on Sundays and Thursdays from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.
Rentals
Patio Rentals
You can rent a patio by the Oasis Pool. These shaded patios by the leisure pool have a table, chairs, and towels. You can also order food and drinks from Oasis Bar & Grill. Book a patio by calling 407-WDW-PLAY up to 60 days before your stay.
Pontoon Boat Rentals
Rent a boat from the Seven Seas Marina, and cruise around the Seven Seas Lagoon. Pontoon boats seat up to 10 guests and cost $45 per half an hour. To drive a boat, you must be at least 18 years of age.
Other Recreational Activities
Fishing
Go bass fishing in the Seven Seas Lagoon. These 2- or 4-hour guided fishing excursions depart from the Seven Seas Marina and include fishing rods and reels, bait, tackle, and non-alcoholic beverages. You can make reservations in advance by calling 407-939-FISH.
Electrical Water Pageant
Watch as this charming parade of floats lights up the Seven Seas Lagoon! The water pageant makes its way around the resorts along the Seven Seas Lagoon from 8:25pm to 10:30pm.
Movie Under the Stars
Head to the Great Ceremonial Lawn at 8:30pm to watch a Disney movie! Movies are shown on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Volleyball
Play a game of volleyball on the sandy court, which is located between the Hawaii and Tahiti buildings.
